Hood Of Horror is a Horror anthology I saw a while back, but never got around to reviewing, and as a result it's erased from my memory, but i'll do my best. Basically Snoop Dog decides to imitate Creepshow, only with B grade actors, and replacing it with tons of gracious gore. There's no thrills here, the dialog is incredibly silly, along with Snoop Dog showing up here and there. I am very non picky with Horror Antholigies, I enjoy most of them, but here there is honestly not much to enjoy, and the stories are pretty mediocre.Bottom line. Hood of Horror isn't as bad as I thought, but not anything noteworthy either. It's well below average, and isn't something I'm gonna see again any time soon. You could do worse then this I suppose, but wait for telly, and if nothing else is on.4/10

I knew this was going to be kind of ridiculous, and I was actually hoping for something along the lines of "Tales From the Crypt."Unfortunately, I could only sit through one story without almost vomiting... even then, it was hard to sit there hoping for some decent acting.Even the anime transitions weren't all that special, and I'm a huge anime fan. I wasn't desperate for entertainment, I just wanted to see what this was all about.What was Snoop thinking? 0/10

OK now I realize that Snoop Dogg is a rapper and not a film guru or anything but this movie was just plain horrible and I could have made it a hell of a lot better myself. There is just lots of brainless and unfunny humor, and the gore is completely overrated and looks so fake because there is no way that anyone could ever spew that much blood out of one place in like 2 seconds. Now that I have covered the dumb humor and the fake gore, let's talk about the 3 stories. The first one just starts off with no incentive on how it began and these gangsters just start dying for no reason and its really dumb. The second story is about a veteran's son who inherits a trashy estate after his dad dies and the tenants don't like how he acts so they decide to get even and thats stupid too. The third story is even retarded because its about 2 rappers in which one is fatally shot and comes back to haunt the other because he believes that he was involved and its just really not entertaining at all. Altogether I gave this movie a 3 out of 10 because Snoop Dogg needs to stick to rap, I gave this movie a chance because I thought that Snoop's other horror film Bones was pretty good, but this was just horrible and I don't even know how it got made because it sucked and the greatest part about it was the credits.

I can't believe I saw this movie. It's not scary and it's not even funny. Such a waste of effort. I have to say this, the make up for the gore is good. The characters are interesting. But the story line is bad. It's like teaching kids that doing bad things bring you to Hell. And Hell has a lot of hot girls. They can actually think of better ways to teach the kids not to do bad things. What I think is they should waste their money making a Gangster movie starring Snoop Dog other than this horror movie. Not recommended for Horror movie fans. Maybe if you're a gangster or just looking for a movie that can kill you time, this might help.
