I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

I really wanted to like this movie. I feel terribly cynical trashing it, and that's why I'm giving it a middling 5. Actually, I'm giving it a 5 because there were some superb performances.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

Unlike the other christmas specials that are just bland and have a lazily written story to cash in on the christmas season this one is actually good its funny it has returning characters from next friday sadly no Smokey and big worm this is the latest film in the series Watch it you wont regret it! I will give it a 8/10

I think this series has run its cause with this film, I loved the first movie, the second movie wasn't great but still fun and the third movie was just pretty lame few chuckles here and there and thats not enough, I was kinda bored throw most of it. Its just that most jokes fall flat there were only about six jokes that made me chuckle as I said but still I say skip it, if you want a good Friday watch the first movie or even rent the second movie this is the lamest and and least funny of the series but still not bad enough to hate just we have seen it done before and better. To be on the positive side, yes as I said I got about six chuckles and Ice Cube was good and the side actors were good too but they needed a better script.

ice cube, a superb actor and writer of this straight out la ghetto comedy, a Compton California type neighborhood comedy, with all the characters give extremely great personalities. writing excellent but, has to watched as a comedy, straight and it gives a lot of laughs. mike epps as day day is great, believable and a funny actor.. don dc curry as uncle elroy a real character, like you know these people. crazy, and unique characters.mrs perly as the bizarre landlady, with her crazy sex crazed son. money mike as a pimp was also fantastic money mike was played by katt williams. hi tribute to ice cube to get this movie made and i think it was very very funny.

ENJOY....POSITIVES-1)Anna Maria Horsford(big Amen fan here)2)Sommore, never been to crazy about her "typical loud-mouth black chick image" but it was nice to see her take a backseat to a more dominating character in comparison to what her stand-up act dictates3)K.D. Aubert(I'll excuse her for Soul Plane), just nice to look at, nothing more, definitely nothing less4)Mike Epps'..."Nah, a ni**er did this"5)Terry Crews, this guy just keeps getting funnier and funnier(as seen in White Chicks)6)D.C. Curry's...Grab me? Grab that ni**er that stole my watch!!!7)Money Mike's entire comeback rant after being robbed, if I didn't know any better I'd swear he was a real pimpNEGATIVES-1)Another Friday movie, come on now, if Chris Tucker is nowhere to be found, keep it on the drawing board2)Ice Cube's neverending attempt to relive his NWA days...the persona gets old after the first five minutes3)Money Mike...another pimp in an African American film, big surprise there4)Rickey Smiley, is there a more annoying human being on the face of the earth5)Not that I'm championing the fact they made "Next Friday", but the most interesting character from that unwatchable piece of crap could of at least garnished more screen time in "Friday After Next"
