A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

I was the runner and a production coordinator on this event as I used to work for Fugitive TV & Video's and Features. It was an amazing and emotional journey for many people, resulting in a beautiful triumph that everyone was proud to be part of. God bless Queen, Jim, Dominic and Ray, Julie and everyone at Queen Productions for making this monumental day so special. The highlight for me was David Bowie and Annie Lennox and the mighty Guns & Roses. I wonder what everyone is doing now? If Dave Laidlaw reads this review get in-touch. A memorable moment back stage was seeing the gorgeous Cindy Crawford in the flesh only for the moment to be then dampened by Janis Street Porter's arrival on the scene, I remember saying to my mate "Well you have to take the rough with the smooth" and we fell about laughing....LOL (Only joking Janis...we love you really)

They Were There In 1971 And They Are Here In 2004.Though One Thing's Different : Freddie Mercury Has Gone To Heaven.Brian Has Still His Red Special Guitar Built In 1964 With His Father Harold And Roger Has Still His Sets Of Drums He Used In Queen But John Deacon Doesn't Want To Be Part Of It Anymore. Queen Died With Freddie He Said. Freddie Would Have Liked Queen To Go On. I Don't Think That's The Main Reason Why John's Last Real Concert Was On April 20, 1992 In Wembley. Queen's Musical Directions ? Performing With 5ive, Wyclef Jean Or Anastacia Maybe ? Anyway...They Were All There In April 1992...Even The King Himself : Freddie Mercury.Making A Brief Appearance On Screen, I'm Pretty Sure Freddie Watched The Show From Above. George Michael Performing "Somebody To Love", Paul Young Performing Roger's "Radio Ga Ga" Or His Favorite Performer, Liza Minelli, Performing His Own Anthem, "We Are The Champions", I'm Pretty Sure He Was Applauding. The VHS Version Has The Entire Concert While The DVD Version Has Only The 2nd Part. Buy The VHS Version For A Complete Concert Or The DVD Version For A Better Sound.

I first saw The Freddie Mercury Tribute in 1995, when I was 14, and I was blown away! It is jam-packed full of Queen songs, footage, *and* rock legends. This concert (the video)introduced me to Roger Daltrey and Robert Plant, which has consequently made me a *huge* Who and Led Zeppelin fan. Anyway, this concert is fabulous. One of my favourite parts is when Brian May is singing 'Too Much Love Will Kill You', and is almost crying! :( It is definitely recommended. I am positive that if you do not particularly like Queen when you first view it, you will by the end of it, as well as all the other legends involved. Words just cannot describe, and I cannot imagine how amazing it must have been to have actually attended the concert! Queen really are the champions, and this concert really *will* rock you! -Cathryn

This concert was everything it lived up to be. The bands did a very good job performing. My personal favorite performance was the one put on by Extreme. The tape showed alot of Archive footage of Freddie Mercury, as well as Queen. From the beginning of Queen's career, to the very end.The concert has alot of great moments, especially Liz Taylor making her big begging speech to the crowd. The tape is for everyone, Queen fans, or fans wanting to know about Queen. The same goes for Freddie Mercury as well. This is real great concert to watch, rent it, or buy it, you will be very pleased.
