The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

This wasn't like the Pulp fiction at all. This was the same story like The Payback with Lucy Liu. What's round comes around. For the main characters and heroes from both of this movies nothing's gonna be square. Ever. " Hero" of this movie'd thought that his wolf's skin could change so easily, but in that kind of situations always came the same old catch. Although, he'd had the idea that he could escape from his sins, was just the end of one of his chapters. Demons were always coming back with their tests in the name of someone or something who this kind of people liked the most. In this case it was peaceful life, full day job and beautiful woman besides him. But, there was more than one capital and main thing, which all of us should have as long as we live, all the way to the near end of our days. That was his damnation. That black midnight rider sooner or later's going to cut you down. However, this is only a movie and I just like happy endings.

Review: I wasn't that impressed with this dated film which has a silly storyline and a bad script. It all based around an ex-con who gets dragged back into his bad ways when his brother turns up on his doorstep. I wasn't expecting that much from the film because of its age and the fact that I hadn't heard of it when it first came out, but it's watchable and there are some intense moments. It is a poor attempt of a comedy crime caper, by the director, but It didn't hurt damage any of the actors careers. Average! Round-Up: Aaron Eckhart is one of those actors that doesn't get the praise that he deserves. He has starred in some top films like Olympus Has Fallen and The Dark Knight were he put in a good performance as Harvey Dent, but he hasn't become an household name. Thomas Jane is another actor that hasn't really blown up in Hollywood but that is due to the bad attempt at The Punisher, were he played the leading role, and The Deep Blue Sea, which also didn't go down to well.I recommend this movie to people who are into there comedic crime capers about a man who trying to go straight after being in a world of crime. 3/10

Interesting film that's made extremely well. Many find similarities to Pulp Fiction, but I didn't. The movie has track all its own. It's a mixture of psychotic killers, and comedy. The actors are good looking, and the movie is beautifully shot.Casey (Thomas Jane) has made a nice home for himself in Dallas suburbs. His old friend who's a psychotic killer shows up. He's shocked at how much Casey's lifestyle has changed. But obviously, Casey has a new life now. He's turned professional in a good way. But the arrival of his old "friend" is about to turn his nice world upside down again.Yes, I loved the opening scene where the mini mart clerk was shot due to combination of meanness disguised as professionalism, and sheer ugliness of her character.Thomas Jane IMO is a very underrated actor. He could be a tough guy heart throb in any movie. Maybe his only fault is that he looks too good, and too well disciplined at what he does. This is a gem of a movie from the late '90s along with the likes of "The Big Hit" and is recommended for viewing.7.5/10

It's hard to describe this movie in any other words other than "total crap".It manages to be full of violence and confrontation, and still be totally dull, stupid, and without entertainment value, without educational value, without realistic value, without theatrical value, without amusing value, okay, lets just say "without value".It starts off with a gorgeous woman being murdered for trying to do her job. Apparently, it's cool to the Nazis and women because she's got dark hair, and is probably poor, working at a menial job, so there is a fan base there, but no heterosexual guy could like it.But even as a chick flick, it is hard to imagine even a woman liking this waste. There's nothing interesting. The people aren't interesting, the dialog isn't interesting, and nothing seems natural. It looks like actors getting together, smoking pot, and making a movie.I can't say there's a plot, because if there is, you'll sleep through it. It's duller than "Equus".This movie would make Richard Burton look interesting (and that's no crack on his acting. He's a great actor, but his technique was "realism to the point of boredom").There's the nazi fan base, and the women, and maybe some gay people, though I hate to put down gay people. And this clique tries hard to sell this movie with excessive votes on utube and probably IMDb. Those who would vote against it just don't bother to vote, or forget what this movie was.It was total crap.
