While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

Flypaper starts off as a bank heist/crime whodunit, with a cast of unique characters & intriguing plot twists. 2 teams of bank robbers come to the same bank at the same time for different heists, the professionals come to steal from the vault and the amateurs are there to steal from the ATM machines. But unfortunately it falls a little flat and has a predictable ending.It does have one or two little surprises along the way; such as what happens to Darrien (Mekhi Phifer), that is something I simply was not expecting.I generally like Ashley Judd, but this was a nothing role for her. She is completely forgettable as the bank teller Kaitlin. Patrick Dempsey on the other hand is over the top as Tripp a bank customer who is caught up in the heist and tries to sleuth his way through the situation whilst hitting on Kaitlin every chance he gets. His character is annoying & sort of neurotic. On the plus side he did manage to shake off his Grey's persona as he is not McDreamy like AT ALL in this film.

Just caught this great little flick on cable this evening - I found it unexpectedly entertaining...never a dull moment! The entire cast gives perfect performances and go well together,, like peanut butter and jelly. (pun intended). If you are looking for something a little different that's fast-paced and doesn't waste your time, I believe this offering will do the trick. I am hoping to pick up a copy to share with friends who appreciate comedy at it's best, and count this film in the same class as "Blame it on the Bellboy," re: the humour, plus "Inside Man," in a cheeky sense. I rarely think of a movie as fun, but this one left me with a grin and desire to write this positive review: good stuff!

...at least so far it's underrated. 6.3 at the moment. I don't want to give anything away, so I'll try and keep it short.It's fast-paced, it's twisted and it's very funny, not to mention unusual. I was actually just checking it out because of the great cast. Didn't really give a damn about the 6.3 - thought 'Eh... It's a comedy, just give it a shot." It's the best action comedy I've seen in a few years, and I watch A LOT of movies. It's totally underrated and I don't really see, why.I didn't know what to expect, didn't read any plot summary or tagline and neither should you. So forget this review (and any other you might have read) and just watch the movie :)

I started watching this movie with not too much expectations. But I started to enjoy it quite easily. The film isn't the most humoristic in it's genre, but it has some good jokes and good scenes. And it's filled with a lot of great, though a bit cliché, characters. It's a nice movie you should pick up sooner or later.Then the downside: halfway you start creating an idea about the plot, but afterwards the movie integrated multiple twists.. A few to many in my opinion. The ending is still a nice find and the film is a must-see. But due to the multiple plot twists creating a lot of holes, you just can't help but feel some things just don't add up in this story, I gave it an honest 6/10.Quite enjoyable movie nonetheless
