When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

They are movies that are bad because they lack budget or a skilled director, or bad actors, or interference from some sort of production complication. However, this movie is bad because so many major things were done badly, and so many major things were done to the highest quality. For example, the costumes and sets show careful attention to detail. Several of the minor actions are convincing, and the writing shows enough consistency to be competent and air-tight. This all shows that they had the budget, talent, and capability to make this whole thing entertaining.Yet, it isn't. The same writers and actors who have the capability to tell a compelling story, just give up halfway between concept and execution. Many lines sound as if someone just read them for the first time, straight off of a page, and many scenes feel like they are acted out by amateurs who haven't read the script, and thus, don't know what their character should be feeling. That is all very sad, because there was potential to make this as great as "Hot Fuzz" and other sleeper hits, if not in popularity, at least in passion. The thing is, by any summary, this movie seems like it would be good. Even as I have just watched it, I can't really convey how bad it is, or why it is bad. It has all of the components to be a great, or at least, good enough, movie: some good acting, some interesting plot points, some great attention to detail. Those components should make for a good movie, but this just is not. Any random still shot looks interesting, and any five-second clip or trailer you might make would hint at a movie worth watching. However, this just... isn't that. If there is a comic book adaptation, then it might be better (and I'm not into comics), because at least then, your imagination would make the summary into a good memory... it is sad when people have the tools, but just fail to use them.I don't know why. Maybe they were depressed due to the housing crisis.Just skip this, watch anything else, or read a book. Or do what I should have done: read the summary, then imagine who good and fun that would be as a movie. You'll make better memories. Also, this is two hours long. The extra half an hour (over the typical 90 minutes) only adds the the pain, disappointment, and annoyance.

Bloodrayne: The Third Reich is set in 1940's Europe during World War II & starts at a Nazi death camp where a train full of Jew's pulls in, suddenly a group of rebels attack the train & kill all the Nazi's in a shoot-out. During the fight leather clad half human Vampire half human Rayne (Natassia Malthe) takes out Nazi Commandant Ekert Brand (Michael Paré) but is shot in the process & her Vampire blood mixes with Brand's human blood which revives him as a powerful Vampire with all the immunities that Rayne has. Brand turns to Nazi mad scientist Doctor Mangler (Clint Howard) to assist him through his transformation, Brand wants to capture the powerful Rayne to collect her blood so Adolf Hitler can drink it & become an all powerful & immortal Vampire! This American, Canadian & German co-production was co-produced & directed by Uwe Boll & is the third entry in the Bloodrayne franchise which originally started life as a video game, the first Bloodrayne (2005) isn't that bad actually & might even be described as alright & while I can't really remember Bloodraye: Deliverance (2007) I doubt it was any worse than this. The first Bloodrayne was set in 18th Century Romania, Bloodrayne: Deliverance was set in 1880 in the American wild west while the script here opts to place Rayne in 1940's Europe during World War II fighting Nazi's no less & ultimately the so silly it's fun concept of trying to stop Adolf Hitler from becoming an immortal Vampire. With a story as outrageous as that surely Bloodrayne: The Third Reich can't fail but be awesome, right? Well, wrong because it's a rather talky & bland film with a boring plot that only hints about the Hitler plan, every cliché in the book is used & even the action & gore set-pieces are totally forgettable. Bloodrayne: The Third Reich could have been a cult trash classic, instead it's a boring & silly mess that only last's for 70 minutes but feels a lot longer & every piece of potential the concept had is wasted. The dialogue alternates between bland & downright hilarious, it's obvious this was written by someone whose native tongue is not English & doesn't really care about treating World War II, the Nazi's & death camp's with any sensitivity. To give Bloodtrayne: The Third Reich some credit it does look quite nice, Natassia Malthe reprising the role of Rayne for the second time is hot but she is given little to do other than swing her sword's during the tame & repetitive fight scenes. The 1940's period is well realised & the costumes, locations & props look authentic enough. There's not a lot of gore here, there's a fair amount of blood splatter but not much actual nastiness. Boll throw's in some nudity & a couple of sex scenes, sure they kept me from losing total interest but they hardly save the film. Released in the US in both 'R' rated & 'Unrated' versions there is no difference between the two at all other than the Unrated DVD has more extra features. Had the working title Bloodrayne 3: Warhammer & was retitled to The Blood Reich: Bloodrayne 3 when released here in the UK on DVD.The IMDb says that Bloodrayne: The Third Reich had a budget of about $10,000,000 which I think is total crap, you can probably knock at least one zero off that. Filmed in Zagreb in Croatia. The acting isn't great, as mentioned earlier Malthe looks hot so I assume that was the reason behind her casting rather than her thespian skills. Great to see veteran actor's Michael Paré & Clint Howard (over 300 acting credits between them with Howard boasting over 200 film credits) turn up although they are obviously slumming it, Clint Howard's Nazi uniform looks about five sizes too big for him! I won't mention their German accents either...Bloodrayne: The Third Reich is a mixed bag, at times it's silly & unintentionally funny while at other's it's a total bore but some sex, a hot looking leather clad babe in the lead & some fun to be had at Michael Paré & Clint Howard's expense means it's not a total disaster & bad movie fans should gain some pleasure from it, the short 70 minute running time helps too.

At first, with the voice over and the train carrying detainees, this movie showed promise. Then the acting, or lack thereof started. What an absolute farce. They took what COULD have been a good movie and ruined it. The "actors" and "director" should all behind bars for this pathetic attempt.Seriously, it is REALLY bad.Probably the best part of the movie was the original WWII archival footage of Hitler. The initial fight scene, I guess, was comical. I almost expected to see the "BAM" and "POW" like in the old Batman TV series.I couldn't take more than 15 minutes of this rubbish, so if you believe in miracles (I don't), it MAY have gotten better - but I honestly doubt it!Read a book!

This is the third story in Uwe Boll's vampire hunting heroine and this time the Nazis have really p'd her off. When Rayne (Natassia Malthe) joins a resistance attack on a transport train she carelessly infects Nazi Commandant Brand (Michael Paré) with her special super day-walker blood.Brand plans to create an immortal day-walker army with the help of mad Nazi scientist Dr Mangler (Clint Howard). Rayne and Nathaniel (Brendan Fletcher) the local resistance leader must team-up to stop Brand's plans. This film has all the hallmarks of a Uwe Boll film. The acting is terrible especially Clint Howard who speaks his lines (in English) with an incredibly stupid German accent. It is pity there wasn't anyone on the set who might have been able to help the actors sound a bit more authentically German. The resistance fighters are a spectacularly unimpressive bunch of terrible actors. I couldn't believe it when one character was supposed to be a genius codebreaker just 'cos Boll read a book about the Enigma machine and other cool war stuff and shoved it in the script for no reason at all. Boll also indulges himself in a lengthy soft core lesbian sex scene just because.Like in all badly written films the Nazi troops can't hit anything unless the script calls for a character to be injured. Even the vampire Nazis died very easily. For a vampire film there were not enough vampires and the vampires, Nazis and vampire Nazis never ever seemed a credible threat at all. This is not the worst film I have ever seen but it is badly written, directed, edited and acted. Give it miss
