Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.

This movie is so freaking good. This movie takes what the previous movies did right and multiplies that by 10. Plus you get Corey Feldman and a ridiculous dance from Crispin Glover. This installment has fantastic kills that really bumps up the gore from the previous 3 movies and has much better characters. This entry also introduces Tommy Jarvis. The pacing is spot on and the ending is awesome. Jason is so bad ass in this as well. Way more menacing than the predecessors. Ted White did an excellent job. Not only is this a great Friday the 13th but it's also a kickass slasher. 10/10

The best Friday the 13th you could probably hope for. Technically well made but still lacks the human soul. It is better made than some of the other parts in the series. The kills are well done and unexpected for the most part. Genuinely scary at a few points but you can't escape the feeling that it's the same formula with a little to no variation. If you know what you're getting in for and tune your expectations this might be a great watch.

This has always been my favorite Friday The 13th movie. It's the first time the franchise truly realized how dumb it was, thus making it a fun, dumb, yet still scary 80's goldmine of gory horror fun! It has the best Jason, the best characters, and some of the best kills. It's nice to have characters that are actually likable and relatable, such as Cripsin Glover as the shy nerdy guy who's battling several social anxiety. Most of the other movies just have generic teenagers who are only there to get killed, but this is the first movie that actually tries to have interesting and ED characters that you want to root for instead of waiting for them to die. Corey Feldman as the kid is also a cool character and a nice change of pace. The kills are BRUTAL and have such a PUNCH to them. People don't just die, they DIE. People get tossed out windows and over balconies and get stabbed in the freakin face and broken in half of Jason's knee, it's all amazing! I will say the ending is a bit underwhelming, since this is supposed to be the final Jason movie and all (thank GOD we got more), but it's still a cool ending. If you gotta pick one Friday movie to watch, pick this one.

I enjoy this alot more than the first and it's alot of fun! The death scenes are creative like always. You know the pros out weigh the cons like this is a must watch for FT13 fans. The story is great, the writting is flawless, the acting is convincing, good characters, and good pacing. Tommy Jarvis is the best character since Jason Voohress and his mother. The supense in this movie is great like you don't know who's gonna die or not. This is my reveiw on Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter (1984), it's the best out of the franchies!
