Slow pace in the most part of the movie.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

This film is either a love or hate it film and fortunately I love it! I have watched it quite a few times but have not gotten bored of it. You will either find the film hilarious or absolute trash and that's okay everyone is entitled to their own opinion! If you prefer films that are well structured and follow a well thought out plot then this film is probably not for you but if you prefer to watch a film and not take it too seriously and appreciate a bit of silly humour then you should definitely watch! I know this film can be a bit cringey and sometimes downright stupid but I also find it simply hilarious!

2000's Big Momma's House was a surprise hit in the summer where I couldn't stop laughing once I bought the film on DVD. But one thing I hate about most comedy films is when they try to bring on the sequels; many of which take a long time to develop where after a while most of the fans who cheered for these characters start to lose their touch and move on to better movies. The premise of Big Momma's House 2 involves Martin Lawrence reprising his role as Malcolm. He has already got the girl (Nia Long) from the first movie where her son Trent is accepting him as it is while at the same time embarrassed that Malcolm is dressed up in silly mascots in high school to promote safety. But now the undercover agent if fired from his job where he overhears a conversation involving a computer geek on the verge of being killed unless he does something about it. Malcolm dons the Big Momma suit and goes in as a nanny. To be honest with you, the film was very hard for me to keep up. Not once did I laugh unlike the first movie where it just tried to hard to be like the original.

BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE 2, in my opinion, is a flat-out funny, excellent sequel which is less crass than its predecessor. If you ask me, Malcolm (Martin Lawrence) was very good at masquerading as a southern granny. Still, he wasn't much of a housekeeper at first, though. This was especially my opinion when he attempted to do the laundry early on. The reason for this is because of what he did with the clothes afterward. When I saw that, I wanted to vomit. Ugh! Some of the high points were Big Momma chasing after Chad on a scooter, helping Carrie with her dance routines, and getting Molly to shape up. I still enjoyed this movie just the same. In conclusion, if you like Martin Lawrence, I highly recommend this film and the predecessor. When you see this movie, prepare for lots of big laughs.

I was afraid that this movie would be so silly it would be bad, but it really wasn't. It was OK. It had some funny moments. Like Big Momma on the beach in a swim suit, That was good. Martin Lawerence's makeup is amazing in this. While the female voice is too fake sounding to pass as real, the fat suit could pass for real. Now, I would think if you touched the suit, it wouldn't feel like real skin, so I don't know how he could have pulled off the massage at the spa. Some glaring plot holes were how could Malcom risk cleaning the family's house at night out of his Big Momma disguise. And one minute Malcom would go somewhere else without his disguise then magically appear at another place as Big Momma. It never showed him lugging around the Momma disguise. But one positive was Martin Lawerence didn't play the part as really over the top, so wasn't annoying. A big plus.FINAL VERDICT: If you are looking for a comedy, it would be worth watching.
