Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

American Wedding (2003): Dir: Jesse Dylan / Cast: Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott, Eugene Levy, Jennifer Coolidge: Poorly titled and about as bad as American Pie 2. Jim proposes to that dimwitted band camp girl Michelle and makes failed attempts to impress her folks as well as keep pal Stifler at bay. The first American Pie was sufficient but the sequels are just an encore of vulgar jokes. Directed by Jesse Dylan effectively sets up particular jokes, one involving a bachelor party gone wrong. Some scenery towards the conclusion appear horribly blue screen projected as if the actors just stepped out in front of it. Seann William Scott once again highlights the gross humour as Stifler whom Jim approaches for dance lessons. Jason Biggs as Jim continues to stumble through the transfer of adolescence to adulthood. After an awkward proposal in a restaurant he is met with even more awkwardness when factoring in dance lessons and Michelle's parents. Alyson Hannigan as Michelle seems placed when screenplay conveniently needs her. She has lost than goofy awkward disposition that made her funny in the original. Eugene Levy as Jim's father gives the same advice. Jennifer Coolidge returns once again as Stifler's mother whose nature is overwhelmingly promiscuous. Pathetic demonstration on the lows of society and common decency. Score: 2 / 10

This movie is not funny. It is just gross and stupid. It's pooh pooh that is all it is. There is part in it about eating pooh pooh with just proves my point. Because only a movie that's pooh pooh would ever dare to have something so sick and awful and so not funny it would have to be pooh pooh. The original American pie is better and that was awful. It is worst then American pie 2 and that was awful. There are to many comedy movies being made by people who don't even no what funny is. I don't how any one could laugh at this awful movie. Don't wast your money. Don't see this movie. Because it is pooh pooh. Pooh pooh pooh pooh pooh.

After the release of "American Pie II", a major milestone came into effect that rarely has ever been done before. It was great to see a sequel actually produced more laughs than the original "American Pie". This is thanks mainly by producer Chris Moore and producer Adam Herz. The sequel provided more sympathy for the characters; you get a better understanding of their personality traits and their behavioural patterns in a clearer picture. In addition to that it was purely comical.Sadly though, the third instalment to the series "American Wedding" failed to live up to the expectations of the previous two films. Partially because a lot of the cast members from the original two movies are nowhere to be found, which is not particularly a bad thing because Oz (Chris Klein), Vicky (Tara Reid) and Heather (Mena Suvari) were never really that appealing to me? But still Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth) was greatly missed. What really made this sequel really disappointing was that the characters have been badly demoted to wooden clichés of themselves. Sue the series was saturated with crude, rude and lewd jokes and I guess it's just not right to pull away from that tradition by continuing where they left off as opposed to adding new and original humour. So now we see another situation where Jim finds himself at another disadvantage involving his genitals. In the second instalment, Stifler gets urinated on, so it comes to no surprise that the third instalment feces will come into play here. I guess my rant is that the routines that follow tend to be too tiring and predictable. If the absence of characters from the other two movies wasn't appalling or the tiring routines that follow from the other two instalments, the ultimate letdown in "American Wedding" is the character of Stifler (Sean William Scott). I mean of the series, Stifler was one of the funnier supporting characters in the whole series. Mr. Herz really outdid himself when he created a character like Stifler, person who we may have seen and hated in high school. He not only provided the most laughs of them all, but was never a caricatured cliché. In "American Wedding", Stifler becomes a shell of his former self and seems to act more retarded than funny you end up getting the impression that there are a few screws loose somewhere about him. Seriously, he acts the whole time like he needs a mental health evaluation. Sure he's on quite a lot which is fine because I really enjoyed his character over the years, but in "American Wedding" his comical intentions are not featured here.To conclude, "American Wedding" will appeal to some, but not to this film critic. I'll just have to pass on this. I saw it once and I think to me that's enough.

the third chapter in the American pie series is another hilarious slice of comedy gold, so the gang reunite for Jim and Michelle's wedding, and while a wedding isn't the first thing you would expect from an American pie movie, don't let that put you off as it is classic American pie all the way from Jim's humiliating proposal, to stiffler eating dig pooh and Jim having a special hair cut, oh and stiffler has sex with Jim's grandma, its the grossest and rudest one yet, and once again the dialogue is laugh out load funny, and again Eugene levy steals the show as Jim's dad, and him and Jim again share some hilarious moments, this time with Michelle as well. now yes there is a wedding but its sweet not cheesy, and its a real pleasure to have watched these guys grow up, and now getting married, it seems real, sweet and feel good, while not all the cast from the first 2 return, most of the main players are here, and the laughs are even bigger and broader, and as a third chapter to the best comedy ever, American pie 3 is just as good as the first 2, and i highly recommend
