Orphan (2009)

Good story, Not enough for a whole film

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

When I first saw this move I said, ah, finally a classic horror film not with monsters and demons, but with people. Orphan is one of those movies that you don't need special effects to create a riveting film to hold the attention of movie goers. Orphan, however, will not appeal to every movie goer, it will only appeal to those who want to be drawn into the story line of and where Esther comes from and what makes here tick. This movie will keep you glued to you seat until the very end, which you will not see coming. If you like classic horror, drama and a psychological thriller, Orphan is for your. This movie will stand the test of time for decades to come.

This movie had me on the edge of my seat. The imagery is terrifying and the story keeps you intrigued throughout the entirety of the film.

First of all, lets start on the acting. The acting is great on all the actors, its pretty realistic and i rate it 10/10. In this movie the child was not an ordinary one, I could see that from the start, i could see that she was gonna change the family, but i never thought she was gonna change the family for bad. I was shocked, but it was cool. I also loved the Russian accent, i don't know if it was made or really from that country, but it was really cool. The racist effect is that Russians are kinda blamed for murder, craziness and insanity, which showed effects on that kid. For example when she found the gun, she wanted to play Russian Roulete with her stepsister. Another issue is the bad ending. She really dies, but i feel bad for the husband. The husband loved the girl, he was always nice to her, why would he die? What about the stepsister? Why did she try to kill her. Anyways, generally it is a very cool and realistic horror movie.

Don't waste your time boys and girls . You just need to skip this movie and move to the next one when searching for films . Everything sucks . Norhing creative , absolutely no plot , no play , total absence of quality... Trust me in this , unless you are fan of boring " thriller films " that have nothing to offer ..
