Stone (the Antichrist) becomes President of the European Union and uses his seat of power to dissolve the United Nations and create a one world government called the World Union. Megiddo is a supernatural ride into a world teetering on the edge of the Apocalypse. It follows the rise of a Machiavellian leader bent on amassing the armies of the world for the battle of Armageddon while calamities of Biblical proportions pummel the Earth. Though both prequel and sequel to The Omega Code, Megiddo works also as a stand alone story for anyone who missed its predecessor. For at its emotional core, Megiddo is the Caine and Abel story of the two men enamored with the same woman, raised as brothers, who grew up to find themselves pitted against each other over the fate and souls of the entire world.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

It is a very good film, you can take it serious and watch it with some religious faith, and you will like it, or not, also you can watch it with some urge for action and more brutality, if you want it, you will be disappointed. But you can watch it as an interesting sci-fi (plays at near future), with some biblical ideas. I'm an atheist, but why Christian mythology should be banned from cinemas, if we have Jewish and Greek and Nordic mythology in them? I think we should enjoy it as a fiction, like we enjoy LOTR (It is also a Christian story...).It is not a very light film. Maybe you have to watch it twice to really understand every little aspects of it. My only disappointment about it was the ending, not the very end, but the final. Without spoilers I can tell you, it makes the movie a not so well movie. Than you can ask why the 9? Because I can't hate this film, and it's idea is very-very original.

Interpreting the ultimate Armagedden sourcebook of all time, this partly fictional account combines quality actors and a pretty good script along with award winning photography and special effects that hold up even in 2015.Michael York brings a Shakesperean depth to his role of Ultimate Bad Guy...the Antictheist. The seemingly Wonderful Peace Bringing leader whose mask soon comes off...and reveals him as a satanically possessed world leader!Michael Biehn is his brother who will ultimately stand against his evil brother. yes it echoes Cain and Abel! The sourcebook is the Bible...This film builds an entertaining story around the hints God provides in the ultimate sourcebook for how it will all end...and begin anew...the Bible...

Terrible piece of work! A film that wanted to make a big statement about parts of end times prophecy and just turned out pop trash. What a pity! There are some good actors who must have received poor direction. It is such a waste to see Michael York sputtering out melodramatic monologues where subdued performing would have been better. And Michael Beihn being our patriotic hero and "savior"...he must be looking back at this film and shaking his head in embarrassment. Udo Kier also gets lost in this mess. Poor direction, overacting, a patchwork of CGI and stock footage makes up the world chaos and battle scenes. But what really kills this production is the story. The book of Revelations has made good fodder for pop Christian end times stories. But please, making the US of all countries the leader of the coalition against the devil? All the patriotic and faith prayers of the US president? As a Christian, I was offended by the whole thing. If they were making a pure piece of fiction, it would have been low grade fare to start with. But TBN at the production helm implies they meant it to be a serious drama about what end times would actually look like. And the results are laughable. Read the book of Revelation yourself and be challenged and blessed. Don't waste your time on this lousy film.

Most of the reviews here seem to be written by Godless mockers who are just trying to be smart *sses. Although in order to make it interesting the movie has added a bunch of junk about computer "codes" the movie really does seem to do a good job following Biblical prophecy. Hal Lindsey who is a well known expert on biblical prophecy was an adviser. First read the book of Daniel then read the Book of Revelation. By the way this movie has nothing whatsoever to do with Nostradamus. The Movie would have been better if the sequel "Omega code" had been bundled with it. Thats really all I have to say but since that is less than ten lines I need to babble on like the rest of the people here who want to make them selves seem important.
