In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
Definitely worth the watch. Some scenes can be pretty graphic. But I loved it.
Snitches was a mixed bag. Fun character development and dialogue, Acting is where it missed its mark. The actor that played Mikey was in a word, horrible. Jesus Christ, he sucked so bad it could have ruined the film. There were a few more that were weak but I don't understand the casting of this guy. Vincent and Salvatore were the saving grace of this movie. The other wrap around stories were blah. The father and Son drama was weak, the old mobsters were weak, the young guys Johnny and Rocco were the stand out of the low end. Officers Wright and Wrong were great. This should have stayed with Vincent and Salvatore, who ever put that on paper should have ran with it.
