Save your money for something good and enjoyable

Absolutely the worst movie.

The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Having just viewed a documentary online prior to this movie, it was easy for me to presume this one to be likewise. In fact, the only clue that gave it away as a movie(and I overlooked) was the listing of stars. I was actually consumed by this film from the start, completely sold that it was a documentary. It wasn't until after it ended and I became unsatisfied with the lack of memorial for the journalist, that I discovered it was fictional(by searching out more info online). Having stated that, the film was obviously convincing enough to pass for it's intended style. I must declare in my defense though, there were often times throughout the film that I was shaking my head at the complete lack of self preservation on the part of the journalist and the thoughtlessness of the leading role. I had to chalk the latter up to his willingness to die and having nothing to lose.Upon reflection and after learning that it was a fictitious project, I see the overacting, some poorly written scenes and unbelievable luck in the danger close situations.Overall, even after learning of it's true nature, I can't deny how good some of the scenes are layered for intensity and terror.

I have to say this is an awful movie, for the mere fact that when you see this movie on the guide, it is listed as a documentary. As I watched it, I started laughing, thinking to myself, does this guy actually expect me to believe this is real? So I had to look it up, and now see that it is a movie, but now since it isn't a documentary, it is now a movie with bad acting. SO, either way, it is pretty bad. I actually didn't make it to the end. I had to shut it off. I am a NYC Police Officer, and felt that someone was trying to mislead people into thinking this is a documentary, with the intentions of making money off of a terrible day for me and my coworkers. So, I took it a little personal. Maybe I was blinded by that, and it isn't as bad as I personally think it is. Everyone has their own opinion.

I must've been living in a cave...pun intended...because I did not see or hear of this movie until today when I watched it on ENCORE.I rate it 8 out of 10. Which is a pretty good rating considering it came out almost 6 years ago.I honestly thought this movie was a documentary until half way through when he went to interview Raman's (SIC) after the curfew and then he asked about buying weapons! The plot was a little far fetched, finding Osama Bin Laden, but other than that it was a great movie.I especially liked the effects like the first ambush outside their hotel room and the running gun/rocket battle in the streets. I also liked the final night/cave gun battle near the end. Poor Wali and Sunni. //MegaStang\\

I thought before starting with these movie that it might be a good one, but when i started with it i found it really awful. They said movie is being made in Afghanistan but i think 95% of the movie is shot in India. you can see Indian made cars. you can see lars drinking bisleri(an Indian water brand), Hindi written on the road, you can also see temples in Afghanistan *hahah* its really funny and many more stuff which proves its not shot in Afghanistan. I think one should not waste his/her time watching this movie.. pure time waste.. i would recommend to do something else instead of watching this movie or may be might heart is better idea but don't watch this waste of time
