The fall from the top to the absolute bottom can be very fast. A renowned physician, also a beloved father and husband, is accused of a serious felony. Innocence is hard to prove, especially when in desperation to try to save oneself, we sacrifice the secrets that should have remained hidden forever.

When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
I find this movie really interesting. I was really well surprised how great Czech movie can be. This movie grabs your attention at the very beginning and it won't let it go till the end. You are trying to understand but as it goes also in real life, you just don't see everything. You have to listen carefully to every single word in this movie. I mean you don't HAVE TO. You just do. Because every word is there for a reason. Thoughts are so deep that they make you start thinking about you and world around youReally great unexpected end which is the biggest win for a movie these days. When movie can make viewer think they know what is the movie about and then at the end suddenly the viewer is lost and gladly confused what make them think about the movie, then that movie deserves 10*
