A road trip with your best friends - the ultimate way to spend your holidays! That's certainly what Bobby, Shannon, and the gang thought when they set off on an adventure of a lifetime. But when their truck breaks down in the middle of night, in the middle of nowhere without phone signal, they have no option to but to seek refuge in a creepy old mansion. Welcomed to spend the night by the brother and sister who live alone in the old house - very strange things begin to occur! As the local cops don't seem to want to help and are equally as odd as the gang's brother and sister hosts - the five friends have to keep their wits and sanity about them and hatch an ingenious plan, as the road-trip adventure rapidly turns into whirlwind of spooks and crazy mysterious goings-on.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

Download: The Movie also known as Up all Night is a spin off from the CBBC entertainment show.Inspired by Scooby Doo our gang go on a road trip in a beat up van which breaks down in the middle of nowhere and they seek refuge in an old haunted mansion which is under threat of being repossessed. At night in this spooky old house strange things happen, the police are of no help and their hosts, a brother and sister need help to raise £20,000 in order to keep the house.Aimed at kids with cameos from David Mitchell, Marcus Brigstocke and the pop group The Vamps, it should keep younger kids entertained and spooked although I watched it with my son and he was only semi interested until things started to go bump in the night.

I really enjoyed this film and watched it with my younger cousin who loved it. There are cameos from The Vamps, Bars & Melody and David Mitchell. David Mitchell played a policemen and that was probably one of my favourite bits. My younger cousin loved the concert at the end and we both keep singing The Vamps now! There are some spooky/jumpy bits which makes it a great Halloween film to watch but it's got a lot of comedy as well. It was great to see the old Friday Download crew together again and I hope there will be another one!

I just watched Up All Night with my kids who really enjoyed it! I have seen a bit of Friday Download before, and the presenters and other young actors actually all do a great job in their roles. The film gets off to a good start, and the first half has enough spooky bits to keep my kids interested but not so much that they will lose any sleep. Some of the haunted house tricks are quite clever and fun, and bring to mind fairs I visited as kid. The mood lightens a bit as well near the end, which features cameos from the Vamps and Bars and Melody, both groups my kids love. They really enjoyed singing along to the concert scene. Could be a Halloween classic!

Really enjoyed the film today at cinema. Wouldn't recommend it to little kids as there re many jumpy unexpected moments, Overall a very good movie. Loved the cast! Great cliff hanger at the end Liked how the puzzle fitted together Loved the Wolf blood moment at the end! Would recommend the film if you like Friday download, however parents should be wary as it could easily cause nightmares so my mum thought it should have been a 12.Louisa Connolly-Burnham was a great character and ghost and loved Bobby Lockwood as well as I am a massive fan of both of them. I also loved the scary stories at the beginning and how it affected the ending and was a very clever storyline put together! Very good film and would recommend it to anybody over the age of 11, especially as it would appeal to parents as both Marcus Brigstocke and David Mitchell were in it for short but very humorous roles.
