It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

I've been a fan of Russel Peters for a few years now, but after watching the Green Card Tour - Live from the 02 Arena I was very, very disappointed. From the very beginning it is obvious that Russel is not prepared or completely out of inspiration. He makes long pauses thinking hard what else to say. His jokes over the front-rows audience are outright insulting while being unfunny. Overall, I don't remember if I laughed at all. Russel was jumping from subject to subject and it was making hard to follow his stories through which would sometimes abruptly end without a logical ending. Felt incomplete and boring. (Maybe partially the result of desperate editing?) I was, like, feeling really sorry for the guy. 30 thousand people at the 02 Arena in London, first time ever to be sold out by a standup comedian for two nights and... a very weak performance, unfunny cheap dirty jokes? Almost all jokes are 'below the waist'... With a few old jokes inserted here and there. The ending was abrupt and beyond pathetic... After watching all of it I felt really bad for wasting one hour of my life to watch such complete trash show. And considering that they edited the contents of two night shows and made it into one 1 hr DVD, it's like, what the live audience had to go through if THAT was the best of the two nights? Pathetic. Russel should turn solely to movie acting or whatever, but if he is to continue standup comedy he should do a much better job unless he wants to bury his Standup career completely. This is such utter disrespect to all of his fans!

Not even Mediocre stuff. Its almost as if he had no material and he just came on stage and tried to spend some time. Which is probably what he did. Nothing prepared and its sad to see that hes just not that funny to be impromptu and do a show based on no ready material. So I guess its just material and delivery. He doesn't have real comedy talent? I would not have believed that but after watching this show I'm having my doubts. I'm surprised nobody heckled him and nobody walked out. Very low quality......I've seen better comics in comedy festivals. I was really looking forward to watching this show but very very disappointed. Thats all I have to say about it. He's a has been now i guess.

I was eagerly waiting for Russell's next show DVD after Red, White and Brown which was really good. But this one was not up-to the mark. The jokes look really incomplete and unprepared. He is just making fun of the audience and basically moves from one guy to another without actually completing the jokes. Too much interaction with the crowd and same racial jokes are kind of annoying. It's like speed breakers in your one and half hour joyride. For at least half of the show I didn't laugh at all. I know its hard to imagine but it's true. I am not sure if the live audience enjoyed it but its for sure not worth launching a DVD. He looks like normal stand up in this.Russell you have set high standards, please live up-to that. 6 out 10 for me.

I was disappointed with this one to be honest. Don't get me wrong, this was funny, but with Russell Peters and his past works one has come to expect a whole different level of funny, than this on delivered. This DVD could have come from most comedians today, the jokes are funny and u laugh for a bit, but Russell Peters has a standard much higher than this. There is the usual about race and cultures and Indians and White Guys and so on, the usual Russell Peters stuff, but there were so many jokes that just didn't work, like the one where he tells people about a Nightclub in the middle east and what happens when he went inside. The reason why it didn't work was that the joke felt incomplete, and the same can be said about many of the jokes. They are very funny to the point they abruptly end and leave you with a sense of incompleteness. Its almost as if the jokes were written by Russell and his team in a hurry on the way to the O2 Arena, and they wrote a bit of one joke and quickly moved onto another. Another aspect which took some shine off it for me was that the live audience also didn't seem to be totally into it. All in all as the heading says it was funny, but the kind of show most comedians out there could have delivered, and from Russell Peters one expects a whole different level of funny and sadly this never hits the Russell Peters Funny Height. 7 out of 10 for me.
