The Age of Commercialism
Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
The genre is a little tired and has been so for long. Somebody, mostly a man because it's more funny, is from certain circumstances forced to be a woman for a while. He's always afraid of being cached, of having his charade gone wrong. This is what happens also in Swedish movie "Cockpit". The dialog is rather funny and Jonas Karlsson is good as the man, but not that good as a woman. He wouldn't fool anybody in real life. The message is clear. Humans are more important than gender. It could have been all right, if it wasn't for these rather clumsy portraits of journalists, feminists and employer monsters.
