Scoring (1995)
Eric Lazlo is doing the musical score for a movie in which the female star tries to kill the male star using a variety of poisons, poisonous insects, poisonous snakes, etc. When Eric starts to see a prostitute, Abbey, he finds his life imitating art.

It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.
Bad Acting and worse Bad Screenplay
It's complicated... I really like the directing, acting and writing but, there are issues with the way it's shot that I just can't deny. As much as I love the storytelling and the fantastic performance but, there are also certain scenes that didn't need to exist.
It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.
The movie has no story in it, it is not clear at all. the acting is horrible too. in few words the movie is cheap and is made only for sex but even the sex scenes aren't good except for one. 4 out of 10 is the maximum i can give.
