Great Film overall

For all the hype it got I was expecting a lot more!

Best movie ever!

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

This movie is so underrated. Solid performances,especially by the three leads, Thazi Grad, Lior Ashkenazi, and Rotem Keinan. Very good direction, excellent cinematography, editing, and well written. A refreshing film for adults. Hollywood is losing it's ability to make a film like this, with their obsession with the inane blockbusters. This movie was diabolical in a fun way. Satirical, tense, funny, dark, and brooding. It hit it on so many levels. I must admit I have not had the pleasure of watching too many Israeli films, but this one was outstanding.

You can skip this movie...move along there...nothing to see here...I said move along.The plot has very few acts and they are so simplistic as to border on insulting to anyone with a brain. There are zero sub-plots, curve balls..however you define "interesting" this movie is not it.I get the whole dark humour thing but it just doesn't hold you attention.Honestly about 3 times I checked the score on IMDb just in case I'd looked at the wrong movie the previous time...nope, I was right. So how on earth this got 6+ is totally beyond me.Press play at your peril...

The only thing horrible about this movie are the jokes. They are so bad you feel ashamed for the writer/director.This movie is really painful to watch: Story is totally predictable and dumb, when the movie is supposed to be funny you just think "jeeeeesus" i feel so embarrassed. There is no surprise in the story and you look the whole time on your watch when is this over...The Character of this movie are so dumb that it really hurts. This is the worst movie i have seen this year...For the gore/splatter freaks: Its still a BIG disappointment. If you are interested in graphic violence you will think this movie was made for your grandmother. There is nothing shocking at all in this movie. If SAW is a 10 then this movie is a 1 in terms of shocking scenes.

I guess it must be me, I must have missed something here because what I just saw wasn't the next big thing! Even as the almighty Tarantino recommended this flick. I can't say that it was boring but the two questions you want to be answered were, who has done it and where's the head.It started off promising with the killing of a child, abused and decapitated. I thought we were going to be in a ride to hell and the first minutes it did with the interrogation of the pedophile but once that's over and the so-called pedophile is captured by the father of the murdered child this flick turns into a lot of blah blah with black humour. But away goes the gore until the final. It wasn't all that bad because you want to know the why and who and where and you will keep watching until the end but the ending wasn't a surprise at all for me.The torture that you will see is well done and is on the edge of gore and it do has a horror and low comedy over it all but almost being pushed to watch this I was left with a bitter feeling. Go give it a try but I can understand that a lot of geeks will be disappointed.Gore 1/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 3/5 Story 2,5/5 Comedy 0,5/5
