I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.

It's amusing to see that I've seen movies like Boot Camp before, from the hippie "Punishment Park" in the 70's to the Olivia Hussey "Turkey Shoot" which blended this genre, amusingly, with "The Most Dangerous Game" this type of material is not exactly original. (And actually, if you want to take it further, movies like "Battle Royale" and of course "The Hunger Games" owe a lot to this as well). Obnoxious, misunderstood kids are taken forcefully away from their home and onto an island, where they try to learn some manners! Fortunately Mila Kunis and Gregory Smith disagree with the whole setup, and try to find a way to escape. Comparing it with other films of the same genre, it's a bit more hard to take, because it takes itself way too seriously for it's own good.

I kind of found the concept interesting. But the person who made this, focus a bit too much on the girls. Not to mention that he/she has never heard about lord of the fliesBut the movie goes a long way with showing what a bunch of mindless sheep humans are. The realty is that you wouldn't be able to run a camp like this without some reporter snooping around either by air or land. I don't give a crap if it's located in Fiji someone would poke around. **spoilers*****spoilers**spoilers**** I also found it a bit stupid that while they are walking in line, they are discussing escape plan while the other clearly can hear them. Not to mention that when the boyfriend end up on the island there is no "pretend to get know" the girlfriend he Gonna rescue, it's more like: hi nice seeing you again. Lets not forget that everyone with half a brain know that if you got a small boat, you cross the waves diagonally not head on. And when they finally escape they take in to a motel, instead of getting as far away as they can. They actually deserved to get caught. They're so stupid they should have stayed on the island. Another thing, you get accesses to garden tool but you don't kill your capturer. There are somewhat 4 guards on what 50 children? Any body told you about strength in numbers?? Let's not forget that when ever someone is in the circle they don't fight back, they just take it.If it wasn't for the fact that i know Mila uses a body double i might have giving a 2.But it still sucks to much for more than one

Movies like these don't come around very often. Know I am not saying this movie was incredible because it wasn't. But it is the kinda movie that makes you think about tragedy's that happen in this life. Basically the plot is easy to follow and easily drags you in. Norman Hail ( Peter Stormare ) runs a camp where parents send there kids to him and he tries to steer them straight. You could tell that this wasn't going to be a normal camp for kids. He uses humiliation as a form of torture. I Mainly loved the movie because of the two main characters Mila Kunis and Gregory Smith. Most torture movies the whole plot is everyone is trying to get out of the place where they are being tortured which is why I loved the movie because that wasn't the case for most of the characters. A lot of the characters were starting to believe in Norman Hails brainwashing method. There was no ridiculous stupid sex scenes so don't watch it if that's what you are looking for, it was the one of the most realistic psychological torture stories I have probably watched and that says a lot because I have seen tons of movies. If you are looking for a movie that makes you think about about sadistic stuff that happens in real life then watch this movie. I give it a 6.5 / 10

I rated this movie a 6 due to the content. I truly believe this movie should have been made, and I commend the ones who did. It truly broke my heart, seeing as though it's a true story, making it all the more disturbing. I hope that people that are considering sending their child/teen to a place such as this one. I think all the actors did a pretty good job portraying the characters that the movie is about. I just can't believe that this movie is around 3 years old and I haven't heard of it. It's kind of bothersome to me because this movie truly needs recognition, it needs to be out there for more people to see. Parents and guardians really need to do their homework on these type of places before sending ANYONE they truly care about! Thanks for the movie, I really hope people heed the warning the comes from this film!
