Sick Product of a Sick System
For all the hype it got I was expecting a lot more!
In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
I intentionally did not read other reviews prior to writing. I found the characters and the story very engaging. The story is well known but the way it is told is interesting and moves along nicely. The actors are excellent, the sound and picture quality is excellent. I really enjoyed this film.
I didn't know anything about Churchill. This taught me a lot and was beautifully shot with some great music. Standout scene was where the king met churchill to tell him he could not go on the ship. Loved it
Portrays one of the most heroic men in British history as a coward. This film is so historically innacurate it borders upon treason. Such a shame the premise of the film had so much potential.
Churchill ,according to be lacked the reason to make it a film.. AS the MAIN character in the film(according to me) did nothing so tremendous which is worth mentioning....
