Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

This is all personal opinion of course, but I cannot stand the show and consider it one of my least favourite ever shows. The movie/mockumentary fares better, and I wouldn't put anywhere near my bottom 20, but unfortunately I have little good to say about it. The sloppy production values are still there, as is the clichéd and unfunny writing and annoying characters. On top of that you have music that is both forgettable and headache-inducing(at least in my view), a plot that plays more of a very predictable extended TV episode and terrible acting. All in all, I am really sorry, I didn't like it, I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea. 1/10 Bethany Cox

Naked Brothers Band...what can I say? I can't say the plot was original. If you want to see a good band mockumentary, rent The Rutles.I can't say the songs were good. I suppose, for a 9-year-old, they were okay. Not the best music I've ever heard, but what did I expect? They're nine.I can't say that it would make a good little-kids film. Alex Wolff was just over-the-top. He got some good lines, but I can't honestly say that getting him drunk on Lemon-Lime Sprite made me laugh. It was too stupid. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's when they get a child character "drunk" on a not-even-close-to-alcoholic substance to avoid controversy.I can't say it was realistic. I knew that the whole thing was faked, and that the kids weren't really famous. But the fangirls and those guys who hadn't talked until the "Silver Boulders" came along were just over-the-top. Not even remotely believable, and not funny either. So why 7-out-of-10? The characters were original, and delivered their lines in a way that could've been actual documentary dialog. The minor characters, like the head of the album place, had funny lines. The manager was really funny, and so were the over-the-top parents complaining about censorship. What I want to know is what happened to Cole Hawkins, the Cheerios-commercial guy, and when that Quaasim kid stepped in. Cole was funnier, if not as prominent. All in all, it's a good laugh if you have nothing better to do one of these nights. It's not top notch, but not horse $#*+ either

I absolutely loved this movie. I'm always a sucker for movies about talented kids and love and music. That's probably why I loved School of Rock so much. Anyway, this movie was so funny to watch that I taped it. When I asked my friends about it they said it was stupid. However my sixteen year old sister loved it just as much as I did so I think my friends are a little too "mature". All of the characters are really easy to like. I can't wait for the show's premier tonight. This sounds corny, okay, really silly, but I started to write songs about stuff because it was like the movie. It's easy and personal. People try to make movies kids will watch and won't completely bore the parents. This one was very funny, had jokes anyone would like (except serious Christians), and had a nice happy ending. I loved it a lot and I think you had to see the whole movie to appreciate it. I hope you give it a chance, you'll love it.

Before I go ANY further, I have to say this - the oldest kid in the movie was 11.Of course these kids aren't gonna be as good as the Beatles, who are Nat's favorite band. The average age of them is 9. The music is quite cute and I think the movie reminded me a lot of Napoleon Dynamite, especially the way it was filmed. Also, the comedy in it was cute and even though a little bit more "mature" then Spongebob, it was funny to me. I loved that little kid Alex, who reminded me soo much of my little brother.I thought it was cool that that little kid, Nat actually wrote all those songs. The songs aren't gonna be Grammy material, again - Nat Wolff was 9 in the movie and is 11 now.Everyone is insulting these kids when really they are all very cute and talented. This movie is NOT a blockbuster film competing for some Oscar. No. This movie is a Nickelodeon movie, and for Nick, it was very good compared to some of their other stuff, and I know I'll be watching the series for its goofy jokes and "thin" plot line - perfect for a tween like me to understand.Plus, there is no "sexism" in it towards girls. Nat and Alex like girls and, honestly, which 9 year old boy DOESN'T think boys rule and girls drool? I am a girl myself, and all in all I found it quite entertaining and funny. So stop insulting these kids. Imagine if they read these comments - they'd feel pretty lowsy because you judged the movie like, well - a real REAL movie. This is a made for TV movie directed at pre-teen kids. I don't know a pre-teen boy who doesn't like a good joke about boobies. So I'm giving this movie an 8, because I laughed my stinking butt off at Alex (that's inappropriate) and the rest of this goofy band. And now my little sister has a hugggge crush on Nat.All I'm saying is, these kids can play instruments and sing and write songs - unlike my brother who sits around and plays gameboy sp all day.
