A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

First of all, I have to say that this movie has nothing to do with Fright Night. Nothing at all. I believe that the people who made this movie, just decided to name it Fright Night 2 in order to gain the audience of Fright Night. Fright night is like horror comedy. This one was action-horror movie. It is actually a very nice and decent vampire movie. They could have named it '' The dark countess'' or something similar. Because it is not a sequel or something. This is a real vampire movie. And very interesting one too. Much better than many other vampire movies. But the fact that they named it fright night 2 just to gain attention and audience for their movie, since it had nothing to do with fright night itself, this was the reason the audience did not enjoy it, neither they gave it a good rating. This movie is not excellent but it is nice. And some scenes are upsetting I would say. It is like a nice b horror movie. The cast was good, the acting was nice, the plot was nice, there was nothing I did not like

Fright Night 2: New Blood(2013) Starring: Will Payne, Sean Power, Sacha Parkinson, Chris Waller, Jaime Murray, John-Christian Bateman, Liana Margineanu, Alina Minzu, Adi Hostiuc, Joelle Coutinho, Ada Gales, Constantin Barbulescu, G Catalin Banghea, Calin Andrei Razvan, Marius Chivu, Roxana Girleanu, Nicholas Lupu, Deliu Ionut, Andreea Mihalascu, Ana Maria Saragia, Costinel Lenghel, Banica Gheorghe, Banica Gheorghe,Mihai Verbintschi, Carmen Popa, Anastasia Pirogova, Dalila Poch, Ian Fisher Directed By: Eduardo Rodríguez Review NEW BLOOD Hello Kiddies your pal the Crypt-Critic is here with some rotten blood. I mean wow was this stupid and totally unnecessary. The Fright Night franchise started in 1985 with the cult-classic from Tom Holland, got a sequel. Years later the same thing happens remake style, we get a great remake of the original Fright Night with Collin Farrel and then this shitty sequel. This sequel has the exact same plot, beat by beat. If you've seen the original, the remake with Collin Farell then you basically have seen this movie. The only minor differences I can point out are is there is a school about I believe it's Romanian history and they talk about vampires and they say Dracula is a woman. Which the main vampire who is after Charlie and Amy is a woman, there professor. Peter Vincet goes to a strip club and doesn't get his show cancelled. Last difference which is actually a positive about the film it has a cool fight between Evil Ed and Charlie. You couldn't find a reason this film was mad even if there was a book about it. It accomplishes nothing and is a disgrace to vampires for not being scary and for just sucking, I have seen vampire films that people say are awful but I like to those people watch this then come talk to me. The acting if you can even call it that is one dimensional and lackluster because we've already seen two great films with these characters, I mean I give the actors credit for trying but trying doesn't give you a lot of brownie points in an awful movie. Fright Night 2: New Blood has the worst acting, no originality, spits on one of the most vilest villains in cinema history by making him a woman and is just downright awful, I hated this movie.

Watched this on Crackle. I'd never heard of this recent Fright Night part II. I saw the originals when they were released part one and two and loved them both. The remake was- ehh... and after reading reviews for this sequel- not a sequel I still gave it a chance. It could have worked. It might have worked. But it didn't. I love Jaime Murray and she did a good job here but I have to say the overall failure lands in Charley Brewster's lap. Charley played by Will Payne was simply unlikable. Was it the Director's fault? You can't have a lead you don't care for. Seemed like all he did was frown- not that that is a bad thing if done right. But I couldn't have cared less about him in this story line, sad to say. Giving 'Evil' a pass as he fared fairly well considering the material and he wasn't the lead character. I was hesitant to give this a try and unfortunately I did. I have no problem with remaking a good story if you can actually pull it off. Didn't work here. But they did try, I give them that. Clear crisp footage. Wish the rest were there.

Again another vampire movie ....I really didn't like the remake in 2011 of the original cult film from 1985. And this sequel is also for me just a lame excuse to bring in money, feeding on the cult sounding movie title. There is absolutely nothing innovative or original in this film. It's just another story about vampires with all the familiar clichés. Just like its predecessor, the SE's are standard and nothing spectacular. Besides one thing that I have never seen in such movies : the production of sonar-like waves to locate the two students in the dark tunnels. That was an original contribution. The functional nudity and eroticism was taken to a higher level than in the movie from 2011. Murray as the biting vampire herself is one to bite and nibble on. Enormously tasteful to watch. But her delicious nudity isn't shown explicitly. What a pity. However, I think that this strategic move is a way to cover up the lack of talent. This movie isn't a complete disaster and ultimately the whole movie industry is only interested in one thing, and that's money. So I have no problem with the fact that there is a weak decoction made with a huge low budget, in order to hit the market with this product for the fans of such movies. Haven't you seen a Fright Night episode before, good advice, skip this one and watch the original.More reviews at http://opinion-as-a-moviefreak.blogspot.be/
