One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

Read it and Weep is a Fatastic movie, You could totally relate to Jamie and what she is going through in high school.Like having a big crush on the popular guy and wanting to be in the popular crowd, but Jamies life before was still great on having great friends who were unique in there own way, but sweet. First there is Lidsey who is part of the Animals right group, Seacond there is Harmony who is a great artiest, Thirdly there is sweet Connor who is in love with Jamie for a long time, but she does not know this and treats him like a Best friend should be treated. But when Jamie is not looking You could totally see it Connor always looks at her and gives her a cute smile when she looks at him, but her mind is somewhere else because she has a crush on Marco. She falls for him because he wrote a great poam even though Connor really wrote the poam. But she later finds out that it was him . It was romantic when Jamie yelled Connor"s name and she tells him that she is sorry and tells him that she really likes him and takes his hand and he closes his hand over hers and then looks at her and gets closer and then he admitted he liked her and then they shared a tender long kiss with each other. After they kissed they went inside and danced with each other. I would think they are boy friend and girl friend. overall this movie was Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved this movie and I watch it whenever it comes on. Personally I love the songs that are in it and its not some of the cheesy acting you can see it a lot of DCOM. Also I love the idea of a teenagers story becoming a book because I want to be a writer. (Not that I expect my journal to randomly get published or anything) The one thing that bugged me was that IS turned out to be meaner than I thought. But I can understand that because IS represented the meaner part of Jamie who wanted to be popular just like most teenagers do. But after I watched the movie I wanted to read the book, because one of my friends read it and loved it. I couldn't put the book down! The only thing was that the movie and book were completely different. Same basic concept but all the details were different. I think I liked the book better (which is saying a lot) only because I love books more than the movies anyway. (I also that in the OK, Jamie's sister was a major techno geek. Kind of saying that no one is who we think they are) In the book, I loved the Jamie actually helped a girl who hadn't always been very nice to her but came to her looking for serious advice.I still loved the movie because I think Kay Panabaker was very good at Jamie. You could really relate to what she was going through! And of course, Jason Dolley being in it wasn't horrible either.

Okay... The only thing that was similar to the movie and the book was the names. For god's sake, what happened to Allie? I liked her. And Jennifer 2's incident? Okay, so Disney might not have done that anyway but it made up a huge segment of the book, which brings me to this conclusion - why even make the whole freaking movie if you were just going to edit things out? It's just dumb. Really...And the thing that bothers me most? Hello, IS didn't turn evil in the book unless there's a sequel I don't know about.Okay, the end with Conner was pretty good. But the party, WHAT? That was downright horrible. She let people trash her without doing anything. And what's up with Harmony and Lindsay? They weren't mean to Jamie in the book, and I'd really prefer if they had edited that part out because it's downright dumb. I mean, why not put the Jennifer2 incident in instead of that? I'm kind of annoyed at Disney just for doing that, but once again, my opinion. And besides, what's to expect for a Disney movie? The acting was sort of good, but the plot I didn't like at all. I'd give it two out of five stars. The morals are, I guess, to believe in yourself.. or something. Whatever. Anyone who loves this movie has never read the book, but once again, my opinion.

if you go to Myspace and click "music". And then if you type in "Nick Whitaker" and then click the first one and when the music player loads hit "download" and then click "save" when the thing pops up. It will give you an option on where you want to save it at, and then you pick where you put it and hit save. But you don't even need a Myspace to do this. It might take a little while though because Myspace is pretty busy. But I don't think they're going to make a soundtrack because it's not a musical, I'm not sure though. Okay hope I helped. But I really liked this song too. And I wouldn't have known who to type if you hadn't told me his name. So thank you because I wanted this song on my MP3 player.~*Andi*~
