Mr. Nobody (2013)

Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

Mr. Nobody is a strange movie. And I mean that in a complimentary way. It is a bizarre piece of science fiction involving mental illness, time travel and the concept of life and death. What makes it even more spectacular is that is it stunning to look at- seriously one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen. Jared leto has a knack of picking offbeat scripts and he s bang on the money in choosing this one. What can I say...I think you should give this film a choice but beware that it is a bit heavy handed and clocking in at 2 and a half hours quite long to boot. However, for those who enjoy an offbeat tale this is a great 2 and a half hours of escapism into a fantasy land.

What if your true love never crossed your path because you made a different decision? In essence, this is the film. It is a study in paradoxes and time travel, also encompassing whether reality is real or imagination, and vice versa. Don't worrry, this review will not spoil it for you. There are no words to describe Nemo Nobody's adolescent love affair, which is so idyllic yet also typical, for the time it is permitted to thrive. There are also no words to describe the betrayal and loss Nemo experiences in the course of his interdimensional travels.The casting couldn't be better. Furthermore, there are no conflicts of interest between storytelling and moviemaking. The politics of today do not enter, no distractions from Left or Right, meaning you can relax and let the writing, acting, directing, and effects wash over you as pure cinema.In the 155 minute version I saw, some elements seemed extraneous, but not to excess, and therefore it retains a 10 score in my book.

This is probably the strangest movie I've ever seen. It goes everywhere and nowhere. It frustrates me in ways but I can't help being amazed by how beautiful I find it. It's well worth a watch and possible even multiple watches.

Great story, movie keeps you awake till the end, it's just amazing ending, must watch it!
