Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Absolutely Fantastic
There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
A dope movie about a guy who goes to a party to pick up stuff he left with his ex-girlfriend and while waiting for her he falls asleep and wakes up in a Zombie Apocalypse.One of the best Zombie movies ever seen (and that's saying a lot cause Zombie movies are the best!), it's a quiet tone as this dude goes through an I am Legend type situation thinking he's the last man on the planet (or at least in Paris)The dude who they got playing the last man on Earth is a pretty good actor cause he had to be interesting for 90 minutes and he pulls it off, making us laugh, making us sad, and making us believe he lost his mind from loneliness. It's a stellar performance.I recommend.
Time and time again has the zombie genre been done to death, it has been nothing but mindless repeated garbage,Untill now.This is a refreshing take on the zombie genre, it brings back the same feeling which i had when i first saw 28 day later or dawn of the dead for the first time.Not only have they changed the formula but they've managed to portray what made zombies frightening again, the design was very well made and the scenery was appealing to the eyes. This the only issue i've found with this movie is that at one point its going to slow down, this can be offputting to some viewers.Overall this was a great zombie movie and i wish that more people took time to make more films like this, it was both entertaining, emotional and terrifying.9/10
Never have I seen a boring zombie movie. Well, now I have. PASS on this one, unless you like movies that nothing happens in them.
Or, if you prefer LAST MAN ON EARTH meets NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Two films which are some kind of cousins. We could also speak of THE OMEGA MAN? another version of the Dick Matheson's novel. I love this small French movie, very cheap but so free from those f... producers. It's of course a zombie film, with pretty interesting lines about loneliness and communication. Especially the one between the lead and an old zombie locked in an old elevator. You also have here some moving sequences, such as this one when the main character takes care of two corpses, man and wife, altogether in their room. Poignant sequence. One thing I don't understand: when the main character finds a long barrel gun, why does he suddenly have a short barrel gun a few minutes later? Did I miss something? besides this, I highly recommand this pretty little gem. Thumbs up folks;
