Wonderful character development!
Sadly Over-hyped
Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .
Blistering performances.
Brexit Is NOT a done deal. Calling Remainers to get active!Nearly half of those who voted want Remain. We are extremely sad, bewildered, angry, under represented & feel impotent, unheard. This documentary expresses opinions of different walks of life of Remainers. Our EU brothers and sisters should watch this evidence. Millions of us want to keep close ties with the EU. We are stronger as a force of twenty eight. Most of the young did not and DO not want to leave the EU. But the Government and its Opposition are ignoring all of us. Please contact your MP, join your grassroots group, write to the local press, become an activist...Thank you "Postcards", best wishes. Ii hope to watch it on TV soon.
As someone who has been sufficiently incensed and dismayed by Brexit and it's ongoing shambolic chaos to spend the last two years actively supporting a number of grass roots campaigns to stop it, I am really appreciative of the fact that the director has made this wonderful film and put in so much work to tour with it. It will stand as an accurate historical record of the different viewpoints of remainers up and down the country who have basically been ignored by parliament and the press. It was well made and somewhat emotional at times. It was great to attend a screening with a talk from the director. Thankyou again.
Postcards from the 48% was an excellent documentary, reasoned and balanced. So refreshing to have more than small sound-bite from Brexit TV discussions All the interviewees were good communicators who knew their facts. I sat in the cinema, wishing that everyone could see it. One audience member said his work colleague had commented that it was biased! He clearly hadn't read the label on the tin! I wondered if the 52% would be tempted to do their own version? - but realised they would need to call it 'Post-Its From The 52%' - as they've never gone beyond the jingoistic head-lines. I hope the film has a wider circulation before The People's Vote.
Postcards from the 48% serves as an excellent summary of what has happened since the EU referendum: so much has happened since June 2016 and it's good to be reminded. The film informs our fellow citizens in the other 27 European Union countries that a sizeable number of us did not want to leave, and still do not want to leave the EU. However, where we do go from here?
