The Age of Commercialism
Purely Joyful Movie!
Yo, there's no way for me to review this film without saying, take your *insert ethnicity + "ass" here* to see this film, like now. You have to see it in order to know what you're really messing with.
It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
I won't waste any more of my time than is necessary to say how poor this film is. In a story that should explore love and money and the motives that drive our search for each, there should certainly be more character development than exists in this drawn-out film. It's hard to connect with either of the main characters in the story -- so much so that by the end you wish they would just go away. The music is very good at times, I'm just sad that Yo La Tengo and Velvet Underground are associated in any way with this underachieving cinematic failure.
