This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

1. American soldier are best than other country's soldiers, this is wrong. Soldier is soldier even if he is from Kenya but this does not mean that american soldier can kill Kenyan soldier easily as shown in this movie. 2. Woman main character is always becoming the lover of our main man character, this is old style come with different idea. But also woman main character is also good and strong as real soldier that she can even kill other soldier so easily as fly just because that soldier is not american ooooooh! this is also nonsense. 3. Always in movies like this american tend to show that they are better than other country, this is also nonsense. American directors need to change. CONCLUSION: this is not movie to watch you will just use your time for nothing because it is a terrible movie.

Do not expect anything when you watch this film and you might just enjoy it. With the current blockbuster films that have been let downs, Revolt has been a refreshing piece to watch. Usually you can tell from the first 5 minutes if you want to waste 2 hours of your life watching a movie. This movie might be worth your time (but make sure you dont watch it late at night or else you may end up eating a bunch of snacks that can make you gain weight). The budget seems decent (you can tell by the big crowd). Smart move on the location. The CGI characters seem weird at first, but at least they do not look like the other movie creations. They took a good chance at being creative. The acting was also "not bad". That one character looks familiar from another scifi film. But sometimes this person looks different? That be awesome if those were 2 different actors. Either way, good way to create curiosity. Even the featured & background cast had ok acting. Great job yall. Hopefully the crew & crafty treated you well.

I actually really liked this movie a lot. It's hard to say to much of anything without spoiling the whole movie. It has great CGI and special effects and all of that kind of new tech fancy stuff with all the bells and whistles. I personally liked the plot and story line. The location of the end scene looked like Three Mile Island very close to where I currently live in the greater Harrisburg, PA area but I do not actually live within the city limits. I hope there is a sequel & if you watch the movie all they through you would expect there to be a sequel, plain old common sense would tell you that if you pay attention that they had to have planned on a sequel. Overall I thought it was great but there has to be a sequel, it is a must. If they don't make a sequel then I would say it's fair to good leaning towards good personally but if they do make a sequel then it's great.

Low budget science fiction thrillers are ten a penny these days, and way too many of them turn out to be absolute rubbish. Not so REVOLT, an engaging little effort that comes to us courtesy of South Africa. The film reminds one of DISTRICT 9 to a degree, with a sun-scorched and devastated landscape patrolled by hulking CGI robots (the good news is that animation is passable here). The main character is an amnesic soldier who has to fight his way across the landscape, encountering violent rebel groups at every turn. This film benefits from a simple story, a fast pace, and plenty of action. The budgetary constraints are evident but the cinematography is nice, which makes all the difference. Jason Flemyng has a small but memorable cameo.
