So much average
It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.
Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
This actually wasn't bad at all and has a number of funny segments poking fun at some current events and pop culture too of course. No worse than an SNL special or something similar. It's basically just a bunch of skits tuned to the 12 days of Christmas. I got a kick out of a number of the segments. The part in the middle where the always beautiful Marion Cotillard sings "Can't Help Falling in Love" with a guy (not sure of the actor name) is actually sort of a serious segment and I thought it was really well done and fit in nicely. Other segments are spoofs of "It's a Wonderful Life" naturally, a game show skit, a black Santa Claus being arrested, the guys from Reno 911 do a skit on Canadian Christmas. There's a number of others check it out for some quick laughs.
