After his release from prison, bank robber Zequi sets off to recover the stolen money that was buried by his dizzy accomplice. He's horrified to learn that a high school gymnasium is now standing over the site where the loot is stashed. Needing to infiltrate the building, Zequi lands a job as a substitute teacher for a group of wild and unruly students. As the ex-con tries to lay down the law, he starts to realize that life in jail may have been easier than trying to deal with rebellious teens.

This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

I usually have the 'opportunity' to see trailers on theaters almost every month and also catch tons of advertisement of the same matter even on Youtube adds. We're told to support national arts and cinema overall, but watching the kind of crap they have been producing, it's almost painful to bear. This movie entertains, but sometimes it turns into some cringy moments where you can't find a place to hide, so you can avoid such shame. It's not different from other new mexican films like 'How to be a Latinlover', '3 Friends (also a remake)', or 'Treintona, Soltera y Fantástica': all just a bunch of insignificant movies, that you'd watch in a family night, just to pass the time, but nothing too serious. Besides, the plot is somehow unreal and absurd. I've never seen a high school where you can throw feces to your professors, or that kind of stuff. The humor was silly but not extremely ridiculous, I must admit. The movie is not too bad to deserve a review, it's just that there's a wide distribution of these irrelevant and pathetic films in Mexico, instead of supporting the art, the cinema which is really worth it, and no one cares about.

I don't like movies with drama, but this movie has a very good mix of comedy and drama, a very honest movie. The movie is funny from the beginning, but during the climax it turn a little dramatic and sentimental, like a love story. It also teaches some fundamental ideas, and helps other under stand that you need yo make a future and don't and in a bad situation, that other people have a second chance to make a change in there life. The movie helps you to understand that you can change with the help of others. The movie is very good for schools to use for learning material and in the same time laugh a little.

Mexican films are severely underrated, and they have proved to be quite good at achieving what they want. This of course is a remake and it is very well done, it is funny, it is heartfelt, well paced and you can see the effort that the people behind the film put into making it, and you can tell that Martha Higareda and Omar Chaparro have really good chemistry on screen.Romantic Comedies can be "by the numbers" when it comes to plots, twist and the cathartic final scene. But the important thing is not what we know about them or how they will end, what makes a Romantic Comedy a good movie is not how they end but how do they get there, and this movie makes it seem effortless.Highly, highly recommended.

I just watched the movie and I spent a good time at it. It's a remake of the German film "Fack ju Göhte" just tropicalized for the Mexican environment -not without some inconsistencies by the way. The film is mostly fun but let's say that I have never known of a school like this in Mexico. It is not just the kind of circumstances depicted in the movie, I mean the school itself -don't try to find one like that in Mexico. Nevertheless this factors do not affect too much the general smiles and laughs that it pretends to deliver. I cannot speak for the international audience that could see this film but from the point of view of the mexicans, even though it is plagued of silly jokes and fault language and situations, it is a film that you can enjoy if you are in the mood. Definitively not the most funny picture I've seen but it worth the ticket. Have fun.
