Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
But come on hollywood, really come on. Every film remade with women only or done now has all female cast and if there is a male he is stupid and extra. Come on give it up. I have nothing against lesbians but hollywood pushing all women to become lesbians is just stupid and cliche by now.
I did not like the presence and performance of Mindy Kaling in this movie. Not by her color as she has already stated in some reports but by professionalism. She is a terrible actress, and in addition her level of beauty compared to other actresses is mediocre. If the director's idea was to integrate into the team an actress with South Asian origins, he should have chosen a real actress like Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra or Aishwarya Rai.
We didn't like it. We should have know it was not funny and marvellos because it was not MCU. Theatre was empty. There was no one. Maybe one fly. Not mCU. Everyone said they didn't enjoy it so not coming back. If you find great comedy watch Thor
Why would you take a classic movie with a almost all male cast and change it so drastically. Next time you have an idea to take a classic movie and replace the cast with girls DO NOT! DID NOBODY LEARN FROM THE REMAKE OF GHOSTBUSTERS WITH ALL GIRLS? It was HORRIBLE! WHY WOULD ANYONE MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN? LEAVE CLASSIC MOVIES THE WAY THEY ARE, BEFORE THE WHOLE CINEMA INDUSTRY IS RUINED!!!!
