I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

Maudlin mAudlin maUdlin mauDlin maudLin maudlIn maudliN Sickeningly maudlin!!!!Four girls with questionable entertaining ability want to make it big in the music business. Not a new story. My daughter loves this movie, but then again, she loves everything from Disney. I think I'm neglecting my duty as a parent by not locking out this channel. The movie is quite ludicrous and really strains the will. I failed the test and finally had to run out of the room leaving my daughter rapt. I tried not to pay any attention to the, but I can see and hear the TV from the kitchen. Several times I had to laugh aloud, not because something funny had happened on the screen, but because something so mind-numbing had happened that I had to choose between laughing and screaming. The only person not trying to talk "urban" (read: American Black) all the time was Raven Pearman, and that gets old really fast. The straw that broke this camel's back was the ultra-maudlin last scenes with the dog in the hole. I moaned and protested audibly when the news crew arrived, when the police spoke in such urgent tones about shutting down power, when Raven started pleading into the camera, and finally, when she started singing. I didn't wait for the others to pick up the cue and start harmonising. That's when I ran out the door.

OK first off, all the rude comments was unnecessary. Second,if you guys can figure out that it's Disney Channel then there's a problem, and third the movie was made for kids, if you were expecting something better (like a movie for teens or adults) then go to the movies and see something for a more mature audience!!! I thought the movie was pretty good, of course i don't expect that much from Disney Channel, but in my own opinion it wasn't all that bad. Sure some of the scenes were kind of dumb and didn't make that much sense, but like I said before it was intended for kids to watch, kids don't catch on like more mature audiences do. I personally think that the second one was much better and made a lot of sense. Besides that I thought that the storyline was good, well at least the part where the show how the girls have a real passion for something. If you love something so much and have a passion for it and dream of going big then you should do whatever it takes to get there, and thats what the movie is mostly about. Which is great because it shows the viewer that if you really love something you can achieve it.The acting was OK, it could have been better. I thought that the singing was great (except for one of them, i don't like her voice and i still didn't in the second one). Since I love dancing I thought that the dancing was great too. Sabrina is very talented and shows even more of her talent in the second film. To me she was the most talented one.All in all it thought was movie was pretty good, could have been better but its Disney Channel and meant for kids so if you don't like it then why bother watching it?? Think about that one...

I totally understood this movie! It was awesome! I just think that Galleria was acting kind of childish because she walked out on her friends because Jackal Johnson didn't use their music. But like when Toto fell into the hole, that brought the Cheetahs back together. I haven't seen the second one yet so I can't comment on that one right now!But anyway, I haven't seen the movie for over two months and I remember every part of it! My favorite parts were: the part where they all join back together in the end and when they performed "Cinderella" and Galleria's dog ran up and started dancing with the Cheetahs. I loved Toto, he was so cute! I also loved the outfits they wore. Also when, in the beginning, the Girls singing "Together We Can"! The dances were really good until-well you will have to watch to find out what happened!!The parts I didn't like were when Galleria gave a few sheets of paper to Doe with th outfits with it or when she took Aqua's hot sauce away from her! =( Also I didn't like that Galleria was so controlling!!! Uhh, it was so annoying! I also thought that Jackal was sometimes kind of rude! But other than that I loved the movie! I like the Cheetahs in this order, Channel 30%, Doe 30%, Aqua 30%, and Galleria 10%. I really hope this gets posted. I worked so hard on it! I recommend this movie 100% awesome!

This movie was terrible. I was expecting something average because it's Disney Channel, but what I saw, blew me away. It was so bad. I can't understand how it was so well-liked by girls or guys. The songs were trash, the acting was terrible, and that was not a story. The ending was just the worst part. The dog is stuck in a hole, and they get it out by singing? That was bad. I don't understand that. This, in my opinion, is the worst movie on TV. The second one looks no better. Don't waste your time. Bad movie. My score: 1/10
