Yo, there's no way for me to review this film without saying, take your *insert ethnicity + "ass" here* to see this film, like now. You have to see it in order to know what you're really messing with.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

This review is probably going to get a lot of thumbs down but before you judge my taste in movies please just go and watch it again. Yes it's flimsy and stupid even but it's perfectly entertaining and very snappy. No scene drags on too long for the audience to get bored. There are cringe worthy moments but those add to the overall craziness. When I watched it originally, I was not writing reviews frequently. However I didn't dislike the movie. Recently, someone showed me that the critics rating on this movie was dismal. Couldn't agree with that because its a pretty funny film and quite similar to After Hours. So I had to watch it again. It was clear to me the first time that Walk of Shame was not iconic nor brilliant but it was memorable. It requires quite a bit of suspension of disbelief but it is evident that the movie is not trying to find any answers to life. After watching it again I say it's still a damn entertaining movie and that's about it! For those trying to read meanings into Meghan's unexpected nightly adventures are just not getting the point. There's no spiritual quest here. It's just a really bad day (night) for the prudent girl. From that stand point its all too fun to watch. She meets some hilarious characters, goes through a series of unfortunate events, finds kindness among most unusual people while gets totally judged by 'normal' ones. It's ironic and funny and absurd. Maybe not as edgy as Scorsese's After Hours but it's a fair update to the situation. Also, Banks is just gorgeous. She does some gross stuff in this movie to deserve a few laughs! Don't hate it just because it's a star vehicle. What's wrong with that? This movie is a perfect goof off that friends love to watch together on sleepovers or when you stay in and chill on weekends. There are some good laughs in there and some guilty pleasure. It has two awesome comedians Bill Burr and Tig Notaro doing just the most inconsiderate things to the poor protagonist and that adds to the hilarity. My hunch is that this movie will gain popularity with time. Whether it does or not, 12% on Rotten Tomatoes is definitely not what it deserves.

In Los Angeles, the journalist Meghan Miles (Elizabeth Banks) is disputing the anchor position of a TV network with another candidate. Megan is a calm woman from Texas that has just broken with her boyfriend. Her friends Rose (Gillian Jacobs) and Denise (Sarah Wright) come to her house to celebrate her new job, but she learns that the other candidate has won the position. However her friends convince her to go to a night-club to drink to forget the deception and she wears a sexy yellow dress. She gets drunk and a stranger called Gordon (James Marsden) offers to drive her home, but she prefers to go to his apartment and they have one night stand. When she wakes up, she finds a message in her cellular from a friend telling that she had been selected for the anchor position and her friend advises her to rest since her audition will be on the next day. Meghan leaves Gordon's apartment and finds that her car has been towed away with her purse. Further, the door of the building is locked and she does not know the number of the apartment where Gordon lives. So she decides to take a cab to retrieve her car, but the driver is a foreigner and misunderstands the tow place and she ends alone without money in the red zone downtown LA. Meghan sees a police car but the officers are douchebag and believe she is a prostitute. Meghan stumbles with drug dealers that try to help her but she only gets in trouble during the long night. "Walk of Shame" is one of the funniest comedies recently released. The gorgeous and sexy Elizabeth Banks is a great comedian and she is fantastic in the role of a woman that only wants to take her car back. The story recalls the storyline of "After Hours" and is a great entertainment for a Friday evening after working for one week. My vote is seven.Title (Brazil): "A Minha Casa Caiu" ("My House Felt Down" – literally, but meaning "my life is destroyed")

I love Elizabeth Banks. She's one of my favorite comedic actresses and I was happy to see that she got a starring role in a comedy. Well technically she was a lead in Zack & Miri but in this movie it's all about The Elizabeth Banks Show. Literally. She plays a news reporter who spends a night out with friends, gets a little too drunk, goes home with some guy, then the next morning when she leaves to go to work she realizes that she left her phone in the apartment, finds out her car was towed, and of course that she left her purse in the car. So basically it's a walk of shame since everything goes horribly wrong for her and she has to get to work on time because some news execs are looking at her for a promotion or something. Let me just say I did not laugh once throughout this movie. I chuckled at a couple parts sure, but it was at stupid things like Bill Burr as a policeman telling a guy to drop his cookies, or Bill Burr calling a kid an asshole. Burr gets all of the good lines in the script basically - him and Kevin Nealon who barely gets 5 minutes of screen time.Seriously, this is bottom-of-the-barrel humor. It's basically "hey look at that girl, she's totally hopeless and a lot of sh*t is happening to her." But yeah, that's not funny, and after a while you just start to feel bad for her. I mean, everyone in this movie is SO stupid. The police in this film are probably the dumbest in any movie ever, and they're usually pretty stupid in movies so that's saying something. I know it's a nitpick but holy crap there are so many things wrong with this movie. It's borderline offensive at times, like everyone thinks she's a hooker because she's wearing a dress and no matter how many times she denies it they still treat her like one. It's just uncomfortable to watch. And the dialogue is horrendous. Whoever wrote this movie needs to be arrested because it is just mind-numbingly awful. Some scenes left me like "wait... what was the joke? was that really it?" Every character in this movie is incredibly stupid. Frustratingly so. None of it is believable. Not one word coming out of anyone's mouth holds any merit. It's a garbage script and this should not have been green-lit. Seriously. Awful.I have to give it a 2/10 for Elizabeth Banks. If nothing else, this movie proved that Banks can carry a movie as a likable leading woman. She was kind of typecast as the trashy girl, but the hot sexy kind of trashy, but still trashy. But here she's a good girl with a good job who gets dragged out to a bar with her friends and things just go wrong. She's a great actress and she's the only reason I kept watching this movie. She is gorgeous. She glows on screen, literally. She's in a bright yellow dress. She does what she can with the script but there's just nothing for her to do. It just isn't funny, and it's not her fault at all, or any of the cast for that matter. There are so many funny people in the supporting cast whose talent is wasted here. And James Marsden, what are you doing man? It's a filler character, a generic romcom lead, but with a lot less screen time. Everything in this movie has been done before, all of it is generic, all of it is filler, none of it should've been put on screen. This movie made me feel bad for Elizabeth Banks, and I hope she scores a good script that can actually put her comedic talent to use. This was just a disaster. Horrendous film. The writers need to take a walk of shame right out of Hollywood.

Is this a comedy? Also a comedy is able to make the public to laugh at least 30% of all the story. This movie was so tiring...so boring and these artificial jokes were so childish. Even children will not like it. Why they shoot this movie? Why studio production is realizing this pseudo comedy? Why people should spend so much money for...nothing? At the end, this movie was less than popcorn movie. I was not expecting a real drama or big tragedy here but at least to make people to laugh is so easy. This director of movie should stay home and start to study or to review it again this scenario or what he did and to try to be more happy and positive and to spend his fake energy for something better and not to lose the time of people and not to throw on air these money of movie for nothing. Thank you for wasting my time!
