Save your money for something good and enjoyable

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

The acting in this movie is really good.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

This movie is just too short. With a running time at about 1 hour 20 min (without the credits), its a very short movie by todays standards. In that time, you get 4 origin stories (5 if you count the villains story), AND the entire movie, with build up, crisis and climax/resolution. There's just not enough time for it all. Everything feels kinda rushed in this movie. Especially lacking were little scenes of interaction between the characters. There were plenty of scenes with many characters, being told stuff by yet another character, but very few scenes with only two characters, actually having a dialogue. It's in the little scenes, you really learn about the protagonists, get to care about them, and those scenes just wasn't present in this movie. The CGIs were mostly good. The man/bear character was bad when doing simple things, like walking, but fine when fighting. The big spectacle scenes were amazing. Considering this movie only cost 5 million dollars, they were mind-blowing. I would very much like an "extended edition" or "directors cut" of this movie, with more dialogue between the characters, adding more depth to them.

I'd been looking forward to seeing this since I first saw the trailer a couple of years ago. And y'know what, I enjoyed it. More than Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, and (just to show no studio bias) more than DC's Justice League. Basically, think the Avengers - from the perspective of the Winter Soldier programme. The leads are likeable (including Russian 'Gerard Butler', and Russian 'Chris Hemsworth'), and all the women are insanely hot. Seriously, every woman in the Russian Military/Intelligence looks like a supermodel! Some of the criticisms about pacing are valid, and the movie is pretty generic as far as superhero flicks go; but this is Russia's first attempt at the genre, of course they're going to include some 'cool stuff' they've seen in the US movies! The plot is really thin, little more than an excuse to hang the action on to be honest, but the CGI is pretty darn good (other than 'were-bear', where it drops a notch for some reason). And they made this whole thing for the equivalent of $5 million! If we get a sequel (there is a mid-credits teaser...) I'll definitely watch it.

So its not going to win an Oscars, but it surely does not deserve a 3.9. From what the rating says its as bad as the awful Asylum sci fi horror movies.First off the special effects are top notch, maybe people hate it because its a Russian movie big deal, the women are super hot, the acting is good, its a sci fi action super hero movie so. The villain was cool and it reminds me a lot of League of extraordinary Gentlemen.Its really sad that it got a low rating like this because many people will shy away from the movie.This is not a fake review, i enjoyed the movie, i enjoy all super hero movie even the DC justice league.

The plot is very rushed. It took them 15 minutes to get the team together, even though they were all hiding. The avengers took 40 minutes and 5 movies to get their team together. The CGI is acceptable for 5 million $. It's better than the last air bender which costed 150 million $. The movie feels like you're watching it on fast forward.they have the worlds worst villain. He is a mix of bane and whiplash.i hope they fix it all in the sequel
