... review please, let me ask you something respectfully!: What do I have to do to get to watch more of these remarkable cartoons?!?! Shall I donate? You need a lucky mug in the studio? Write a permission? Whatever needs to be done consider it done! Because I just love these fantastic stories! The music, the art direction, the characters, the cast, everything was just great! And for a certain level I enjoyed it more than the movies! Don't get me wrong! I love the movies as well! The Burton ones, the Nolan ones are fantastic! (Let's just not talk about the Schumacher ones already!) These titles belong to these directors. It is their vision. This one is very creative as well, but this one is the real BATMAN! The movie is not flawless though. Of course sometimes they do simple things, and there is no problem, I mean it is a cartoon, so they can get away with it! But one thing is for sure: Warner Bros. has realised that there are two groups of Batman fans out there, and one of these groups is all grown ups now! This cartoon is for them! I definitely wouldn't watch it with my child - there is blood. A lot of blood. - but for us it is like reading a comic book! They both come to life before our eyes. I was waiting for this one and I was very happy to see it eventually! So if anybody would read this from the fantastic team of creators of this great tale: Please make more! You got one definitive fan! And I'm sure that I'm not alone! :D

'Batman: Under The Red Hood (2010)' is surprising in just how emotionally investing it is. It manages to properly grip you and make you care about its characters just as much as most of the live-action Batman films, if not more than most. This is mainly thanks to just how well written it is, with an investing and interesting story that values its characters over its spectacle - though it still provides the latter, in spades - and always keeps a focus on how they will navigate its tight, grounded and gripping narrative. The expert voice-acting gives life to the wonderful animation, allowing you to get lost in the story and for the piece to transcend its 'cartoon' status. You'll be on the edge-of-your-seat throughout, caught in the cross-hair of a moral dilemma to which there is no right or easy answer, and the flick will keep you just as riveted as entertained. A very enjoyable animated adventure that rivals most live-action incarnations of the character; in fact, it's up there with the very best. 8/10

I Know I am reviewing this title a while after it came out but I had to on this particular film. Being a fan of the original story line of "A Death in the Family", I was highly anticipating this movies release, I can certainly say once I saw it I was not disappointed in the least. Starting with the tremendous cast providing the voices to our beloved DC characters, then adding in excellent writing and artwork, this was one of the best DC animated films so far in my opinion. The film revolves around the story of Batman losing his protege Jason Todd, aka the second Robin to don the suit, when the Joker kills the young sidekick in an explosion. The emotional approach that this movie takes, by capturing the topic of death in a fashion that fans had not seen yet in the animated films, is only describable as brilliant. This story is the first of many to touch on Bruce Wayne's humanity that was never explored in previous comics, it still to this day holds as one of DC's most memorable tales. If you love the gritty but classical Batman stories than you will enjoy this film greatly, an instant classic with a memorable cast, Batman Under the Red Hood is a must see for any DC fan.
