The East High Wildcats are gearing up for big fun as they land the coolest summer jobs imaginable. Troy, Gabriella, Chad, and Taylor have scored sweet gigs at the Lava Springs Country Club owned by Sharpay and Ryan's family. Sharpay's first rule of business: Get Troy. Don't listen to the Hype. It's awful
Boring, over-political, tech fuzed mess
Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Another great HSM film. I remember this as the best one. And honestly, i still think it is the best one. The songs are again, amazing. The story is again, quite good. Other than the soundtrack, this film improves on everything the orginal film did and im fine with that, since i love watching all 3 movies. Also the credits are a blooper reel. So that is awesome.
The first High School Musical film's popularity caught everyone out, so you can't blame Disney for quickly capitalising and making this sequel before the bubble burst and the cast grew up.Is this film better than the first? For many fans yes, but for me as just a casual viewer no. It almost seems as the writer is creating problems for Troy and Gabriella just for the sake of it.There are some nice moments, and Ortega again manages to create a happy clappy vibe, but underneath all the sunshine and sequins I find this to be the weakest of the three.However, it is a fun hour and a bits entertainment, and for fans of the series that is all that matters.
By far the best of the High School Musical films. The best songs, the best storyline and just the most enjoyable to watch. The characters story lines are intriguing and are a pleasure to follow. As always the film is comical and an easy watch. Good as a light hearted afternoon watch, or as background noise whilst ironing. But look at me missing the real point, after much discussion amongst my friends we have always found one pressing issue, and that is that Zac Efron appears to be quite skinny in this film. I'm not going to lie it has honestly kept me up at night. There are days when my family have expressed concern because I don't want to speak or eat, and when i do speak its only of how skinny Zac Efron was in this production of high school musical. And here I am rambling again. But all round top film.
This is the first High School Musical movie I have forced myself to endure, and it is a total piece of garbage. I mean wow I knew it was going to be lame, but I had no idea. The acting is awful, the dialogue is terrible, the songs are bad, there is so many clichés your eyes will burn, there is an extremely poor excuse for a plot, and it is so lame that you feel like an idiot for watching even if your only watching it to make fun of it. This is one of the most torturing movies I have ever seen. There is also a thing in the movie that just made me angry. Throughout the movie a few characters say they don't like to sing and dance despite them breaking into song all the time. When I saw that in the movie I felt like bashing my head in with a hammer. It is like the movie knows that it will squeeze tons of dollars out of little girls' parents pockets so why try to make sense. This movie on the lame-ometer gets a 194,381,491,233. So now that I have described my hate for this film is it worse than "Hannah Montana the Movie"? No. While this film is a total piece of garbage Hannah is a slightly bigger piece of garbage. It as of right now remains the worst film that I have seen that has the Disney name attached to it. HSM2 comes at a close second. Hopefully the other HSM films are at least tolerable.0 stars out of 4
