It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

A surprisingly well done fine little movie of the (post)apocalyptic genre with a surprising twist in the end. No big production or big names but good acting and good production value and for certain, not one of the kinds where the movie poster is the most pro work of the whole production. If you like such movies like The Road this one is made for you. Thumbs up!

Like most people on here i have enjoyed this movie from start to finish, very exciting and well written. I like low-budget movies that shows effort in the making and this is one of them.Worth the time and it is very different than the rest. It did open the door for other movies to have the same scenery like the one to come out in 2018 called A Quiet Place and i am excited for that one too.

I was skeptical of this but had read a good review so I thought I would give it a try. Starts and moves slow. Picks up speed. Acting better than some give it credit for. Low budget but good. The kid in it is one of the most annoying kids I have ever seen in a film. Part created that way I am sure. You have to wonder WHY some actors take the scripts they do. I understand why these actors chose this film. Different and original. I had to wonder what there WAS about this film that some thought was so good. It is unique is why. Different. THAT is difficult to find in a time of derivative plots. Give it a shot and watch out for the ending. Wait for it...

Chills and suspense from directors and writers, The Duff Brothers (Matt and Ross). Things change suddenly for a North Carolina family; Ray (Alexander Skardgard), Claire (Andrea Riseborough) and daughter Zoe (Emily Alyn Lind), being forced to take their average existence to the refuge of a fallout shelter; and there they will be for 301 days. That devastating day leaves them with memories, but there is also the fear of what may be looming above the surface. They have managed to stay hidden; but that day has finally come that their safe haven has been breached. Oh yes; there is something out there and it wants in! Surviving takes on a stronger meaning.
