It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

I love the original Cinderella, so after the disappointing Cinderella II my hopes were low. But it turned 180 degrees shortly after pressing play. As most people have complained, Cinderella and many other Disney Princesses from that time were passive and dull. In Cinderella's case, the prince was even duller, but Cinderella III: A Twist in Time managed to correct everything lacking about the original. The prince is hillarious in this one! His goofiness really adds to the enjoyment of this Disney sequel. Cinderella is also given much more action scenes and choices to make. The stepmother and -sisters also maintain their despicable nature and the stepmother is just as intimmidating or even more with the wand from Fairy Godmother in her hands. For a direct-to-dvd sequel, the animation is pretty damn good with great backgrounds and awesome effects especially in the action scenes. In short, Cinderella III: A Twist in Time, as silly as it sounds, is a highly recommendable Disney Sequel. Aladdin and the King of thieves is probably the best continuation of a classic Disney feature, but the best sequel in terms of self-awareness and overall quality definitely goes to this one.

This is the worst sequel in the history of movies. It completely undermines the first movie and changes everything about the characters and story. *Spoiler* Suddenly the evil sisters are not that evil anymore and you are actually suppose to emphasize with them. They can suddenly SING if not better, then at least as well as Cinderella. In the first movie they were horrible singers. The fat mouse now talks, which he didn't in the first movie. How can the evil step-mom just pick up the wand and just start using it? Anyone can do magic now, as long as you hold the wand.AND TIMETRAVEL!?!? What the hell were they thinking!?This is a awful sequel that ruins the classic completely. I hope parents around the world will have brain enough NOT to show this to their kids, and I hope the director of this movie will step on a lego.

Why is Disney wasting their time with these unoriginal sequels to classic movies? I can hardly fathom another movie studio rehashing their movies as much as Disney does. And I doubt the viewing audience is what they have in mind.Cinderalla III is a 'what if?' movie. What if the stepmother was able to stop Cinderella from being the woman who fits the glass slipper. And so we see a spell and a trick, yet Cinderella still gets her man. That was never in doubt. Yet one of her sisters also turns good.I followed the story, but never gave it much credit. The ending seemed all to perfect. Nothing dramatic happens - like the originals. But instead, it is small things. Wish Disney would do better sequels, but I guess they can only do that with Pirates of the Caribbean. "D"

At first I did not know there was going be a Cinderella 3. But after I watched it, I thought Cinderella 3 (as well as 2) are great sequels for everyone to enjoy: kids and adults like me.The film has great animation and music and I thought the voice casting was very good; Tress McNeille was great as Anastasia and Jennifer Hale as Cinderella. I love it when the mice, the birds and the Fairy Godmother throw a party for Cinderella and the prince, since it's the anniversary of when Cinderella put on the glass slipper and married The Prince. Another scene I love is when the two mice, Jaq & Gus, tell Cinderella what has happened by role-playing; it's very cute.
