As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

I loved watching this movie again. I did not like the religious and superstitious innuendos. Daveigh Chase did a great job as a voice actor and so did Tia Carrere! I enjoyed lilo and stitch and how they showed the different culture. Also, with the lesson of Ohana. With Lilo and Stitch I like how Stitch is a heartless monster and he builds a relationship with Lilo to become a better monster and evolves into a better friend for Lilo who did not make any friends. I thought it was hilarious to see that they used Elvis Presley as Stitch's inspiration to try to become a model citizen. I saw this when I was younger and enjoyed this movies just as much. And seeing Stitch feel guilty showing that he was more than a monster, but was adapting to normal emotions that make us all a being. Finally I loved the ending where Stitch wanted to say good bye before he left and he was able to stay with Lilo.

This movie was nice in the message it portrays, but the characters are bad-looking. Better-looking characters would have made the movie more fun to watch. The focus on the relationship between Lilo and Stitch is very sweet and enjoyable. They have a friend-like relationship, and also, the girl's relationship with her older sister also becomes likable when they patch up after things become serious. The large focus of the movie on sisterly and friendly relationships is rejuvenating and the unique location of the hawaiian island also adds to the story. The white girl in Lilo's dance class is extremely annoying and disgusting to the core. Lilo is right to want to hit her, but she gets in trouble for it. It's over the top when the disgusting child tells Lilo she won't ever be 'as good as her mom'. The movie is emotional and flows naturally.*7/10*

While I have only seen this and The Emperor's New Groove, I can say with confidence that no Disney film made in the 2000's can top this in terms of my experience. The humor is formidably hilarious, the emotion is sturdy, the animation is wonderful especially during the scenes in space, the characters all have lovable or love-to-hate-able (I needed to make that one up). While Lilo can be obnoxious occasionally, she still has an excellent heart, especially during the moments she has with Stitch. The action, as typical of Disney, is almost always engaging, though it does have some questionable moments and seems to drag at some times. Regardless, this is one of the best Disney films I have watched yet, and once you see it, disappointment will not be present. Apparently, this movie was so popular back in 2002 that Disney decided to craft a television series and three sequels connecting to said television series. I haven't seen the series for a while, but I can assure you that most of the fun comes in the film. Laugh, well up, and get pumped? Lilo and Stitch can cater to all of those demands.

Sweet, funny movie, ideal for all ages. The story of a rather malevolent mutant alien that is banished from his planet. He then accidentally lands on Earth and befriended by a little girl who thinks he is a dog. Hijinks ensue, especially as his home planet has sent some people to recapture him. From the outset the movie is engaging and funny. Ends up making some good points re belonging, family and how people can change for the good. Meant for kids but has enough humour and emotion for adults to enjoy it too. Good voice casting, with the known names being Tia Carrere, Ving Rames and David Ogden Stiers. Daveigh Chase and and Chris Sanders do well as Lilo and Stitch, respectively.
