Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?

This movie can easily be considered 8/10, hands down. Don't believe those reviews that primitively compare Who Am I to Mr. Robot, the show has started in 2015, while the movie was done earlier and is quite different. Dialogues are both entertaining and meaningful; Plot isn't predictable, which is a big plus. Character development is on spot, plot twists aren't too many as it's been claimed in other reviews. The Online/Virtual world manages to create a perfect atmosphere. Acting is brilliant as well.

It's beautiful how internet globalized our movies' experience, Which made beautiful movies like this one watchable worldwide instead of being trapped in its origin country, and it tells people that there are another developed movie industry other than Hollywood. What i really liked about the movie-which i also didn't like once i played it- that it start with backward events sequence that showed the "sad" finale, but fortunately you will be surprised with the real finale. This is a type of a movie that you can't move your eyes away while you are watching it, you will get involved with the ups and downs in the events, you may even support the characters although what they are doing is ethically questionable. The cast fit perfectly with their characters, the scenario and dialogue were straight to the point with no extra encrypted "hacker- terms" which usually filled in those type of movies, it simplify the idea of hacker to hacker relationship without getting involved into the details. It's a clean movies for families with zero nudity "finally".Finally, if you want a rush of adrenaline, or if you are a thriller movies addict or even amateur then this movie is for you.

This movie has a couple of obvious predecessors and it doesn't shy away from not only referencing them a lot but literally mentioning them in some scenes. I won't mention the movies, I'm talking about for spoiler reasons, but you will know pretty fast, what I'm talking about. What is admirable is, that director bo Odar manages to give this movie it's own unique style and look nonetheless. He struggles with his own direction in the first half hour of the movie, but when his four protagonists finally have come together to form a new hacker group in Berlin, the movie finally takes off. The four men, each bringing a certain talent to the group quickly become some kind of hacker pop-stars with some spectacular operations. While having a name in social networks, they fail to gain respect from the underground hacker scene, represented by iconic hacker "MRX". In an attempt to change that, they start a terrible chain of events that leads to an unintended death of another person. The movie keeps a very good pace, all actors are well casted and have some memorable scenes. All in all a very fine hacker-thriller, that is not about computers but about finding your own identity in a world where real-life and avatars in cyberspace become hard and harder to distinguish. 8/10.

As I am not familiar with and interested in special technology, including hardware and software, I usually avoid related creations as they tend to include a lot of sophisticated terms and activities, but - from time to time - everybody needs some diversity, plus I heard some good stuff about this film. And Who Am I - Kein System ist sicher caught my attention and admiration from the beginning - fast and intensive plot (but not too "flashing"), very good (Tom Schilling as Benjamin and Trine Dyrholm as Hanne Lindberg) and good (the rest) performances, skillful cinematography and directing, witty flashbacks and multiple solutions... At first, the inclusion of Marie's character seemed somewhat excessive, but eventually all the pieces fell into place and the result is a solid film recommended to fond of (getting to know about) modern threats and vulnerabilities. And Schilling is a fine actor - based on 3 films I have seen with his participation. He could definitely have wider international employment and recognition.
