Battery Park (2000)
Battery Park is an American comedy television series starring Elizabeth Perkins and Justin Louis. The series premiered Thursday March 23, 2000 at 9:30 p.m Eastern time on NBC. The show was cancelled after four episodes. The series was about a police department.

A ruthless police captain runs a squad of quirky detectives. Ben investigates the shooting of a mobster and then falls for the mobster's daughter. Madeleine thinks the mobster's shooting will help her gain publicity for the precinct so that she can be elected mayor.
Madeleine goes undercover to nail a suave con artist who dupes gullible women out of their savings. She begins to fall in love with him, but it could jeopardize the police bust. Jealous Stig resents that Derek received a heroism commendation at least until he's overcome with remorse after accidentally grazing his buddy with an errant shot during an arrest. Ray claims a giant bunny on the Staten Island ferry attacked him.
Ben tries to hide his romance with Maria. Derek and Stig are assigned to look after the DiCenzo family. Carl learns that his old English Literature teacher is busted, along with her hookers, for working as a madam. Elena takes pity on Ray after he suffers through a string of bad luck. Madeleine disapproves of Ben's relationship with Maria, when a detective from Internal Affairs threatens to get Ben in trouble. But Ben decides that he's going to continue to see Maria, even though he could be jeopardizing his job.
Ben attempts to arrest rock star Jon Bon Jovi (unseen) for an unresolved '87 misdemeanor and is being sexually harassed by the conductor of a sexual harassment seminar. Meanwhile, Stig and Derek arrest a super freak who fancies himself as a crime fighting superhero known as The Hawk.
