Goran Visnjic works with David Fincher in shaping the character and his performance. additionally this supplement combines a look at the work and style of David Fincher along with the process of shooting some of the scenes in Martin Vanger's house.

Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
