A very odd short film about a stop-animated baby doll encountering various gay things on Fire Island. The stop animation is very bad and it's not very funny. But there is a hot sex scene between two guys--that made this watchable.
This director gets a prize for original thought, as well as putting together a sick and funny little film. Using stop frame photography, we follow the little naked plastic "baby doll" around Fire Island, seeing what (s)he sees. The photography is great, and "baby doll's" voice is even better!
Animation short showing a dirty little baby doll washed up on the shores of the Pines on Fire Island. In exploring the area, she gets some lessons she didn't count on. What's amazing is how expressive Dirty Baby is, even though the features never change -- a tribute to the filmmaker. Saw this at OutFest a couple of years ago and laughed myself silly.
