This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

I loved Good Boy! My 13-year-old Shih Tzu (Good Boy: "This isn't a Shih Tzu!") loves it. I love the actors, the scenery, the movie. And since this movie, and watching "Scrubs" with Donald Faison, and Faison as the boxer; OMG, I keep telling Maggie Mae when she's gone I'm replacing her with a boxer I hope looks exactly like 'Wilson' in Good Boy. I love their looks; I love Faison's 'Wilson,' and I love the concept of Good Boy. I love the acting, script, production, writing, directing and cinematography. Thank you Richardson and Hoffman. It's perfect for kids, dogs, and this 61-year-old Grandma who owns a Shih Tzu. Maggie Mae barks excitedly when hearing the barking dogs. I enjoy the "what if dogs could speak."

The movie Good Boy! was stupid but hilarious, especially the part when the dogs chased those bullies. They ran like the chickens they are. Why don't they just fly away next time? The previews were really stupid, especially when I saw it before Finding Nemo came on. The previews in October were downright asinine. There were 2 parts that I'm not going to forget. The part when the dog told the boy to sit, and then he fell down on his rear end and then when the dog told the boy to speak, the boy screamed. That's stupid. The part that I think was the most asinine was when Wilson was all like "Can I have a cookie? Ten cookies? Can I have twenty cookies?" That part was so stupid that I rolled my eyes at the screen every time that was in the preview. I said to myself "If I do choose to see this movie, I'm rolling my eyes at that scene." And guess what? I did roll my eyes at that scene in the theater, despite the laughter from other people. The boy in this movie is kind of cute, but some people think of him as Dr. Dolittle. Oh please. He's not Dr. Dolittle. I'm just glad this movie was somewhat hilarious, unlike You Lucky Dog which wasn't too hilarious. Although 1 part in Good Boy made me give the talk to the hand. It was when the boy spun around in circles like his dog. Pathetic. I'm glad he didn't roll over and play dead like a dog. That would be so stupid. That's the thing with canine movies. They contain stupidity. By the way, there's no time for stupid nonsense. I have morals since I'm a teenager, and stupidity isn't one of them. The movie was all right, but I'm giving that one a 6 as well.

My brother (13) and I (15) watched this movie yesterday and concluded that it's a fine movie for kids under ten. The talking animals are cute, there's nothing really horrible about the movie, but there's nothing really great about it either. The parents were a little annoying and weren't really part of the plot. It got on my nerves that the mother in the movie didn't seem to notice that her son was lonely and hardly paid any attention to him, except when she wanted to get out her KODAK camera and snap a picture of him.I am a fan of Liam Aiken; his character was pleasant and lovable. I think Liam did as well as he could with the role, considering he was talking to dogs that didn't respond to him the entire movie. The scene towards the end of the movie where he's pouring out his heart to Hubble is really well done and shows what a great actor Liam is.The girl who played Connie wasn't much of an actor, in my opinion, she seemed kind of fake. The two bullies in the movie were really stereotypical. Most of their scenes show them following Owen around and repeating the same old insults over and over. Real creative.Bottom line: This is a "good clean fun" kind of movie for younger kids. It is rated PG because of all the poop jokes, which I'm sure they will find amusing. Make sure you watch it with the director's commentary - it was a lot more interesting than the film by itself.

HORRIBLE! Absolutely HORRIBLE! I don't even know where to start with this excuse of a film. What really p***ed me off the most...was it the horrible and cheesy acting, or was it the plot that seemed to go no where. Or MAYBE was it the fact that I was watching this movie and looking at my dog wondering if my dog really came from another planet and arrived on this planet in a UFO. Perhaps...just perhaps this movie was the opposite of CATS AND DOGS. I really do not know how else to say it. This movie was possibly one of the worst movies that I have ever seen in my entire life time.I truly pity any soul that has to go through this terrible experience and I send my deepest sympathies...
