Doogal (2006)

I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much

One of my all time favorites.

Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

Blistering performances.

Why would you bash this beautiful film. GO DIE IF YOU HATE THIS! There's so much great stuff like the main character dongle. He shows progression. At the star he just your average porn star then he becomes a porn director and steals the show. Then there's the infamous scene where dongle kill his brother for stealing his acting roll in... Aladdin and the 40 Horny Genie Whores. Man this is amazing.Lets address a few fools one guy says this is boring. Well the fact your still alive is boring.Dongle is my favorite porn star and porn star movie documentary thing anything less then a ten out of ten would be racist.

I'm really glad I didn't waste any money seeing this at the theaters. I happened to flip around the TV channels today and found this, and wondered what it was (my kids aren't young anymore, or maybe I would have known). Within two minutes I was thinking it was rather lame, the characters and the story line being completely flat, so I figured I would look up what information I could on it in IMDb.com. I was astounded to see the list of actors supplying the voices, as I had only been able to successfully identify Whoopi Goldberg and Judi Dench's voices prior. So I tried sitting through another fifteen minutes of it, thinking it would get better (I like animated movies, what can I say). And not only did it not get better, I think it got worse. Dreadful, dreadful movie. Strung together lines with no relation to each other, weak, pathetic character development, and completely un-funny. I can't imagine having taken kids to see it and been forced to sit through the whole thing. It would have been pure torture.

Doogal is a talking shaggy-haired dog. He tries to get sweets from the candy cart but ends up crashing it. The cart hits the merry-go-around and releases the evil Zeebad trapped inside. Zeebad is a Jack-in-the-Box character who wants to freeze the world. The only way to imprison Zeebad again is to return the three enchanted diamonds to the roundabout. However Zeebad is after the diamonds himself to imprison the sun. Doogal and his gang of animal friends go on a quest.The animation is horrible. It's little better than weak TV show animation. Doogal himself is a horribly selfish character. He is annoying and terribly unfunny. The voice work is pathetic and actually distracting. It's strange to hear Jon Stewart's voice coming out of the bad guy Zeebad. This is a movie aimed at the very young who may not notice how bad this is. However this may not have enough fun magic even for the youngest audience.

Okay, I'm not even all the way through watching this and I still feel I'm not going to miss anything while writing this. (Shows how lame this movie is.) My niece loves this movie and after looking at the case and seeing how many big-name stars are in it, I thought I'd give it a chance. Ugh... To start of with, the jokes are lame. I know Sir Ian McKellan is in it, but seriously, we don't need so many Lord of the Rings references! And Jimmy Fallon is one of my favorite comedy actors, but his voicing a hippie-ish rabbit is horrible. Second, that dog is just a brat! He acts as if they all owe him something, when he's the one who got them all in trouble by being naughty. He doesn't help out, he's lazy and he doesn't listen. I could go on and on about this movie, but I'll end with this: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! By the way, I stopped watching halfway through writing this.
