I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

After cringing through Son of the Mask in 2005, I was convinced that trying to be funny could not get any worse for Jamie Kennedy. ... I was wrong that things couldn't get worse and the funniest thing about Kickin' It Old Skool, yet another in a long line of not particularly funny Kennedy movies, is how little we actually have advanced since the '80s.. may be the reunion of the multi-ethnic Funky Fresh Boys triggers a fusillade of un-PC misfires as the not-so-fab four try to alleviate their personal woes by entering an American Idol-esque dance-troupe contest.Kevin Peterson http://www.schoolanduniversity.com

I rarely hate films; in fact the only other film I have been genuinely annoyed at having subjected myself to watching was date movie. Personally I find it hard to distinguish between the two as to which is worse. this is just so terrible. the acting is awful, the script is unfunny and, putting it bluntly, crap, the humour is that of a 9 year old, the plot line is rubbish and the whole movie is such an utterly pitiful attempt at a comedy. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME TO EVEN BOTHER WATCHING THIS. FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!Here are the facts how I see them:1. I watch a lot of films2. I am very tolerant of films and rarely dislike them3. I passionately, from the depths of my heart, hate this movie.4. However pointless, I hate the producers and writers of this film for making such a Appalling movie, and even more for subjecting it to the public.I will repeat again, DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!

Knightrider, Garbage Pail Kids, Plastic Smurfs, Flashdance, Rubiks Cube, Different Strokes and the list goes on..........Its the 80's. This film pays homage to all the good and not so good memories of the 80's, i actually sat in my seat squirming remembering it all. Its was a strange thing because i had forgotten about the craze for Garbage Pail Kids cards and Plastic toy Smurfs but i never and i will repeat never wore a white string vest.The film itself had myself laughing with hysteria at all these memories that i had long forgotten, there were a few parts over the top and lost the humour it was supposed to represent. The mini cameo from The Hoff would not have been as good if it were not for his T-shirt "Dont Hassle the Hoff"......Priceless.Please do not expect much from this movie, just remember the nostalgia of the 80's and we all used to dress like that, yes even you did if you are in your late 20's/30's. The cast just played along with the script as best they could as it has little in substance it rely's totally on the humour. The Dance off finale has some funny moments but don't let me spoil it for you. Its certainly not the best comedy around but watch it and enjoy yourself for 90 minutes.

what is the name and artist of all the songs on the Kickin' It Old Skool Movie? the movie was awesome. it was funny. awesome characters. love the music on the movie. i like break dancing, it is fun. the girls is fine as ever. kip looks weird with hair so use to seeing him without hair. love the clothes that they wear. who came up with the name funky fresh boys. that little kid Cole is an awesome break dancer. how long does it take to learn brake dancing? did Jamie Kennedy, bill Bellamy, Lee and the Mexican guy learn any break dancing moves while doing the movie? did the young kip and the young Justin have to learn break dancing or did they already know how to do it? how old is Cole? are the break dancing team in the end of the movie real break dancers? do they have break dancing competitions anymore?
