When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

The Whatsit: This is a cute story about a couple people that don't fit in the world the way they "should". With so much going on in this movie it is interesting that the best way to sum it up is to talk about the weird cute couple. It is imaginative and handles its "weird" character well and not under the stereotypes that we often see. The Hoopla: all the cinematography, sound, lighting everything is great. The acting is fantastic and the characters are all enjoyable to watch on screen. My Kerfuffles: The plot was a bit off... it could have gone many different ways. PaperMan, Defendor, Birdman, and Super all are movies that I feel Griff the Invisible fall into this same category. but for each of those movies the plot was hatched out by the third act and things moved forward in an enjoyable manner. Griff the invisible just went the safe route, focusing on the love story and then ending rather abruptly. The Dad Talk: This movie was entertaining and fun, and despite the issues I had with the plot, I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately the possibility of me watching it again is rather low. so, I will not be adding it to my movie shelf.

Griff (Ryan Kwanten) is a nerd. He works in an office where he is bullied by the alpha male and spends his time fighting crime – imaginary crime – in a rubber suit with a gig 'G' on the front. His brother has been looking out for him but is despairing of his nocturnal habits and the costume he wears. Then Melody is introduced into his life. She is supposed to be his brother's girlfriend but finds an affinity with the nervous younger brother instead. She also has 'issues' the belief that she can align her molecules with those of a wall and thereby pass through it, being an obvious quirk. This film is essentially about people with mental issues and is not a super hero film per se. It is also not really very funny, but on the relationship part it actually scores reasonably well. The acting is all fine and for a small budget film it does not seem to suffer but I felt it could have been funnier, or it may be my sense of humour as a lot of folk have said they did find it to be a laughathon. That aside it is still a reasonable watch and does have its heart in the right place.

My first ever Australian movie and I must say it was a good experience. The movie is about a Young man in his late 20s stuck in the world of dreams and reality. And a Big Brother who seems to be all his family. Funnily enough, His brother's Girlfriend who also happens to be a bit odd falls in love with him and the movie poses an interesting question about living in your dreams and in the real world. Where most of us would find our dreams and fantasy locked up within ourselves not to be let out to just look normal to the outside world.First half was more interesting than second though second half featured more of the romantic scenes. Acting, on a scale of 0-10 - I would give 7 and story, a 5.5 and the direction, a 6.5. What I really didn't like was that the movie was not sure how it wanted to go ahead with the story. Some parts of the movie were totally out of sync with the main story or was there a main story after all? Yet, in a way you still find it interesting because you are able to relate to the main character maybe not entirely but in bits and pieces and a beautiful love story to compliment. But still I find it difficult where to stand. Most people might find this movie to be completely incoherent and amateur. While a few might find it interesting. It depends on which side you are

When the movie started out, I thought I was in for an interesting super-hero movie. A quirky character who is a complete loser that puts on a suit and can crush crime, while also pulling pranks in the office. Throw in a potential love triangle with the main character, his brother, and his brothers girlfriend, and it seems like it has potential to be a goofy super hero movie, with the expectation it might be light on action. But soon you find the movie dragging on with nothing really too interesting happening, just moving from one scene to the next where you don't feel any real connection to the characters. Perhaps it is because the characters are so odd that it is hard for me to connect with them, or perhaps it is just a bad script and acting. The music and the idea that something interesting might present itself further in the plot kept me in my seat through to the end, but I had to struggle when it felt like it was going nowhere. At the end of the day, this movie isn't a comedy, it isn't an action/super-hero movie, and it isn't a drama. It is a confusing romance movie lacking in romance and filling in that void with quirk and music that makes you feel like there is more to it.
