Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

Throughout this film I found was constantly asking myself what I was watching. The terrible sound alignment displayed while Stephane was sleeping was extremely distracting, as well as a horrible aspect of the movie. The time lapse used by the director was alright, as was the green screen. I still believe that his dreams could have been represented in a much better fashion, as I constantly found myself wondering if Stephane was dreaming or in real life. The The story line of the movie was awful. By the end of the movie he had still not gotten the girl, and still had the same crappy job printing at printing calenders for a low level company. Nothing had been accomplished. I would not watch this move again.

The science of sleep is an interesting movie to say the least. Mixing dream with reality, the story pulls us into the head of Stéphane as he journeys through a relationship with Stéphanie. This film has many creative shots. It includes stop motion in many parts which makes the scenes pop. The film, at times, captures the audiences emotions. The quirky and awkward style of the movie brought humour and uniqueness to the table. Its been a while since I've seen a movie in this style and it was a nice change from the everyday violent films. But in no way a replacement. To conclude, I enjoyed this film and would recommend it. Some people may find it boring, but for those with an open mind, The Science of Sleep is for you.

It was the worst, most disgusting, unmindful, unrealistic movie i ever seen in my life.I have been watching since i am 10 nearly every week but i have never seen that much depressed movie. I just wasted my 100 minutes of my life for this rubbish. Never watch it, don't believe the votes...I cant even tell you how bad was it..If you really think it worths to watch then go on..But now i assure you that i feel depressed too.It just brought me some bad memories and how a person can be miserable that much.. If you are in depressed mind i strongly suggest you to not watch this rubbish..

Director Michel Gondry's film 'The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' played tricks with time and reality as it told a quirky story of romance; although in places it seemed arbitrary and childish, it undoubtedly had a certain charm. 'The Science of Sleep' is less successful, mostly because it's so conceptually similar: the story of a hesitating relationship, in which the director gives himself carte blanche to break from the constraints of the real world and do, as he indeed does at various points, whatever he wants. Although there's some hint at the idea that what we are seeing on screen is a more accurate representation of the inner mind-set of a confused central character than strict realism, none of the ideas here are worked out with discipline and consistency: indeed, few of them even deserve to be called ideas, they're better described as merely images, with more the illusion than the reality that anything solid lies behind them. The movie still isn't utterly charmless; but I failed to see the point of it.
