This is the story of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite. The Man killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. Black Dynamite was the one hero willing to fight The Man all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.

The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.

The greatest parody movie ever made. The 2009 comedic Blaxploitation magnum opus; BLACK DYNAMITE. The film is technically a movie within a movie. You see errors made by the fictitious directors (when in actuality these mistakes were intentionally made by the real director). That's right, a film with the courage to intentionally make errors and goofs all the time. The quality of BLACK DYNAMITE is in its lovely portrayal of the 70's Blaxploitation movies. Where most parody films fail is where this one shines the most, in capturing the heart of the original source material. The creators of this comedy clearly care for the films they're honoring. Another way this film succeeds is in it's jokes. There are so many jokes. The whole picture is filled to the brim with the full array of every kind of joke. Dumb jokes, easy jokes, long jokes, jokes you don't get upon first viewing, the list goes on, and yet none of the jokes are milked. Aesthetically, the film is edited, directed, filmed, and set to music just like it's source. One might even mistake this for a film from the 70's, if you didn't know it was from 2009, especially since they over altered the print. There is SO MUCH going on in this movie, it's extremely unlikely that you won't enjoy at least some aspects of it. The plot is so dense that it's fun to think of the fictional writers come up with a plot like this, because it's so familiar and yet so out there. Another thing to look out for is that the character's names are so creatively funny, you could almost use them as movie titles themselves. No matter how many times you see the film, there's always something new to pick up on. Upon a second viewing, you might realize that whatever Dynamite does, the music does too, which is great since the music is hilarious anyway. 'Sunny Side Up' is my favorite from the soundtrack. I was in tears of laughter for half of the film, and giggling away for the rest of it. I love this movie, it's already one of my favorites, in the same way that I love 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'. This is a film that they set out to make in one way and they made it in exactly that way. It's a film with no mistakes whatsoever (not counting the deliberate ones). To me, this film is a 10/10, if it weren't for my instincts telling me "But is it art". In a way, yes. But to be safe, I'll keep it at an incredible 9/10. This is one of my favorite films of all time, and if you haven't seen it yet, get on it right away. If it isn't at your video store, order it online. If you can't order it, then start the torrents. Do whatever it takes. What. Ever. It. Takes.Stellar: 9/10

Black Dynamite is the most fun I've had with a film in a very long time! A spoof made up of genius comedic writing and acting.Whilst some context is needed going into the film, once you understand the layers and the intentions you can find so many laughs in a short run-time. The film within a film adds even more comedy, a few technical errors on top of the already hilarious camera work. As well as the on the nose soundtrack.A very interesting style of comedy and film making, I recommend this one to anyone who wants a good laugh. I could definitely dig it.

Black Dynamite The difference between white sticks of dynamite and black sticks of dynamite is that the black ones are longer. But let's leave the racial penis jokes up to this comedy, shall we. When his brother is mysteriously killed, former CIA operative Black Dynamite (Michael Jai White) hits the streets for answers.Eventually, the trail leads to the government, and their plan to add a chemical to a new brand of malt liquor that will shrink the junk of every African-American man. But Black Dynamite and his crew (Tommy Davidson, Phil Morris, Byron Minns) are unprepared for the real perpetrator behind this cultural shriveling - a cross-dressing President Richard Nixon.Outlandish as it is hilarious, this salute to 1970s Kung Fu and blaxploitation movies pays homage to the much-maligned genres while lampooning both to a T.Besides, if US genital size decreases, America will no longer be a threat to China.Green Lightvidiotreviews.blogspot.ca
